No business class but as it's part of the whole journey, I can book it as a business fare and still get business class status creditsNo Business class on GLT-BNE?

I had this issue with the CBR-SYD-ADL flight (specifically the CBR-SYD segment) however Velocity were happy to credit the advertised amount of SCs when I rang them and explained the situationDo we know for sure that the GLT-BNE leg will earn business status credits? I know the VA website states as much when making the booking, but some people have had issues with getting this credited when flying Y on a J ticket on the SYD-CBR route:
CBR-SYD-ADL in J - SCs less than advertised
I recently flew CBR-SYD-ADL on a J ticket. According to the Virgin Australia booking page, such flights should give me 110 Status Credits. The first attached image illustrates an example flight, and the same is true for any J ticket to/from Canberra via Sydney, even though CBR-SYD or SYD-CBR...www.australianfrequentflyer.com.au

@Mattg Good idea! Will doGood to know, but ideally you would have received the advertised status credits in the first place. The fact you needed to call indicates that Velocity didn't credit the advertised amount of status credits automatically.
@dapianoman you'll probably be OK, but I would take a screenshot of the booking page showing the advertised status credit earn when booking - just in case
22 Nov.What dates?
Hi there,
Looking at flights but not sure how many to book ahead.
If I hit the renewal goal for platinum, is there any benefit to getting more SCs? Do they rollover to next year?
Doesn't matter where you book as long as you activate the offer first and in line with the T&C's.Does this work only if you make a booking through Virgin's website? Or can I take advantage of the AMEX Platinum fares for Virgin?
Only if booked and changed whilst the DSC promotion is running. If one was to book a flexi return during the offer period but then change the travel dates at some point in the future if required (but still within the travel dates of the promotion) would the booking still attract double SC? I think the answer is yes but wanted to confirm.

I beg to differ, the PNR is still dated within the DSC offer & the flights taken with DSC offer window.Only if booked and changed whilst the DSC promotion is running.
The T&C's would kind of agree with you:I beg to differ, the PNR is still dated within the DSC offer & the flights taken with DSC offer window.
So I'd think the DCS will post.
Good to know for me also. We flew MEL-BNE-TSV last week and the Alliance flight didn’t post business SC even though the booking said it would.I had this issue with the CBR-SYD-ADL flight (specifically the CBR-SYD segment) however Velocity were happy to credit the advertised amount of SCs when I rang them and explained the situation
