I know that the other thread has pretty much determined it will be called platinum, but I hope the card is still purple - I love the idea based on their new colour scheme with a big PLATINUM logo on it - in a platinum coloured font of course

You see platinum is quite a cold colour - purple is a warm colour and balances it out. I think i was born with a pencil in my hand, because I really like working on something I can change.

Never can work out the whole Platinum bit.......looks too much like Silver to me.

A highly polished gunmetal foil would be stunning in the right combination.

You have to admit though, when was the last time you saw genuine enthusiasm by the average punter for airline changes?? Often genuine anger and/or resentment, but enthusiasm to a point of choosing a bloody colour for a card

Personally, I'm finding all this a fresh change.......dare I say, I'm nearly excited (especially if I can now upgrade to Gold a tad quicker )

Ok, time to get hard core. Noob, I like your card. I think for your next draft try a deeper purple and you need to have I think the full VA logo.

Could also try putting in a Flying Club or an Atmosphere.

Did some recent trips (early September) in the US, travelling on Delta, where I wish I could use my Platinum status for Priority boarding, however, when I asked, I just received a NO!. Know I see Delta will allow us to use the priority boarding lanes. Shouldn't complain too much as I requalified as Platinum status for 2013 due to the trip.
