Has anyone had success with Westfield? Found some things on there I'm after!

A few of us have, yes. It took almost a month to the day and you don't get any of the emails in between like you usually do. But it has worked.

just finished talking to Velocity call centre - apparently, it takes another month to sort our pending points after a proof of purchase was sent

so the "up to 60 days" does need to be changed to "up to 90 days"

I was originally told that too, until after hearing nothing for a month, I called back, and was told that it actually takes 28 business days after sending proof of purchase.

Westfield is a little bit of a different system to shop and earn, fortunately!

In september last year I made a purchase from Apple and had the transaction show up in about 24hrs as PENDING on the shop and earn website.

After waiting around 90 days, I sent an e-mail to find out why the points still weren't approved, and just over a week later got a phone call asking for further information. After sending a copy of the invoice, I received a call back within minutes to advise me that the invoice had been received and that the points would be credited shortly.

Unfortunately thats where things seem to have gone from bad to worse.
The next time I checked the Shop and Earn site the transaction had changed from PENDING to CANCELLED.

Hi All. Just a quick update.

Yesterday I received a phone call from a very helpful supervisor at the Velocity Rewards call centre, saying that the missing points will be credited to my account within a few hours, and in a very short time they were.

So after 2 emails, 4 calls to the call centre, and the call centre calling me 5 times, the points are now in my account.

While I am extremely grateful to the people who have helped me resolve this problem, There must still be a few problems with the system if it takes this long to find missing points.

There is a term for what you went through which escapes me now. Where you end up being grateful for something being resolved but should not have needed to be resolved in the first place.

Our partnership with Westfield Online is very different from those retailers located within the Global eStore.

With Westfield Online, you can expect to receive your Points within 28 days of purchase - we have to allow this buffer in case any items are returned or refunded as points cannot be refunded or returned.

With the eStore, the retailers on this platform take a lot longer to process the Points Earn component of the transaction, hence the reason some of you have to wait 60 days for your Points. Unfortunately some do take longer.
If you have any queries over missing eStore Points please DM us the details and we can look into the issue

Oh, wow.

After a handful of unsuccessful Shop & Earn attempts (one was successful after coughing, a handful of times, to Virgin [kudos to Virgin Rep on here]).... I might have a touch of luck?

Got the following email 5 minutes ago..

[TD] Dear Mr xx_XX,
Our retailer, eBay Australia, has informed us that you made a transaction with them on 15 Feb 2012, and as a result you have Velocity Points pending.

Sure, this has taken 5 days... instead of the 1 working day that Shop&Earn says... and, sure, they are only pending, not in my account......

But, this is the first time (in 5 attempts) I HAVE seen this email ever before.

wait 60 days with them saying pending then ring up and the person in call centre in india or wherever says they can't see any pending points on the system after being on hold for 15 mins so hopeless

Priority Club use the same system and they are worse, I have pending points from Aug still pending.

why do they bother to offer a service that has serious flaws in it surely they can build a site that functions properly that adds points correctly and not force every member to keep chasing up there purchases. This is my last go with them not worth my wasted time

Groupon also seems to be an ex-partner. I had a small Groupon purchase through the Velocity site and it used to show as pending. Now Groupon is gone, my pending points notice is gone and no points attributed.

You should receive a 'Points Pending' email within 24 hours of your successful purchase, but remember that it can take up to 60 days for the Points to be loaded. It's down to the retailers T&C's. @Swanning_it and @ricee007, PM me the missing points details, and we will investigate.

PM sent. Thanks for the follow up VA. It is appreciated and very welcome to have DJ input here.

Just an update.

An email arrived from DJ this morning:

Dear Mr. Swanning_it
Your purchase from Groupon Australia on 10 Sep 2011 has now been approved, and as a result, 324 Velocity Points will be credited to your Velocity Account within 24 hours.

I'm not sure if this was because of VAs assistance offered above, or whether it was just the natural course of progression, but I had long given up on getting those points. Thanks anyway VA for your help.

EDIT: It ended up being just shy of 6 months.

Just had 3 txns from eStore.com.au (earliest being July 2011) all clear into the account... now just waiting on 10 more from other merchants.... lol

I still have points pending from a transaction made on 8th April 2010 - not quite 2 years ago.
Do I win??!?!

Haha, well whaddya know, I just got an email from Velocity saying these points have been approved! Have patience people, they will come eventually. Hmmph.

Looks like the system upgrade over the weekend has possibly sped shop and earn process up. Purchased Domino's around 6.15pm tonight and had the standard email email about 1.5hours later confirming retailer had informed them of purchase. Points are also pending, so interesting to see how long they take to move over from pending. I have another domino's purchase from 25 April still as pending so wonder if tonight's purchase will move off pending before this one. Only problem I can see so far is that it shows pending earn of 49 points and not 50.

If I've not received any email, nor transactions in the "pending" screen (either in Velocity itself or from shopandearn.com.au) - who's the best place to query? I have a shade under 10,000 points that I should be earning from two recent transactions - one was switchwise and the other appliancesonline.

Do I yell at the retailer, at Virgin, or at "shopandearn"?

Not fussed about them taking a while to clear, but want to make sure I sneak in under the double points deal!

I spent $500 with Zanui which is offering 14 points per $1, a lazy 7000 points coming my way

At a 4.5% return that's a nice $315 load of points

Yeah I got that as well, found that odd, last time I checked 25 x 2 = 50, maths fail?

No you don't win.....
