Vinomofo Wine Deals

With the $30 off code (thanks chonka) and free shipping it was enough to tip me to buy this:
I don’t know what it is but I’m hoping it’s as good as the blurb.
The Ulithorne Paternus. I bought a couple of them yesterday with the $30 voucher, thanks to Chonka. Works out to be $20.50 a bottle in a 6 pack. I found it to be a quality drop, but you need to let it breathe for a while. I reckon it will be a cracker in a few years time.

Anyone had experience with this winery or wine before?

Jarressa Estate Roundabout Shiraz 2017

I thought it was worth the punt with the $30 code.

5 star Halliday winery in 2021. Maybe didnt pay their subscription fee after that because their rating got wiped.

Jarressa certainly keeps attention with a dazzlingly different artwork for its labels. This is a very good wine, right at the heart of (good) '17 flavours and style. From two vineyards with different crushing and fermentation controls, all parcels kept separate until blending, matured for 16 months in French oak (20% new).

Have no experience with it, 1erCru, but the Halliday review is promising, you're buying some age, and you might do even better incorporating whatever VM shipping and discount codes you might have with a program like Cash Rewards for the icing on the cake. I might buy a six pack for the hell of it.

Cheers, I ended up booming given the $30 code, the fact it's not one of the same recycled VM wines and with the above info.

Has anyone tried the Monterra SB Monterra Sparkling Shiraz 2021 - further reduced to $15.90 now

Also, any current voucher codes to save even more?
That's about the right price now. It's very youthful, fruity, not overly sweet, but with a bit of an odd caramel undertone. One of my tasting groups liked it, ranking it ahead of Mr Riggs Battle Axe and St Hallett Black, but I wasn't as enamoured and won't be buying more.

Hello all. Has anyone tried this? If so, thoughts? It's supposed to be Sieger Estate Frederick BLK 777.

Thanks
I got the BLK 398 Shiraz Grenache. Nothing special that I can recall! Probably OK for sub-$15.

I just got an SMS from Vinomofo

Archery Road Longbow dropped to $18 / bottle.

No reviews on this that I could find. Doubt the rrp but seems worth the punt.

The marketing boffins at VM have done it again - last time I checked $15 is not "just over $10". In reality they've jacked the price of the Reschke Bull Trader Shiraz 20% (from $12.50 to $15)

Email received today regards a 95 point (Wine Orbit) 2018 Barossa Shiraz that is a genuine $85 down to $25 and $60 less if you buy 2 cases. I am sworn to secrecy but your broker will tell you what it is so don't berate me, call your broker. It is a one day offer only apparently.

Last week I opened a 2018 Yelland & Papps Greenock Shiraz. It must have come in a mixed case because I have no record of it, however I would happily buy a couple of cases if it becomes available again. Paraphrasing: Vines planed in mid 1980's, small parcel wine spent 14 days on skins, fermented in open fermenters, basket pressed, and matured for 23 months in French and American oak.
