Vinomofo Wine Deals

Looks to be School House cab sav. Is this an ok drop?
I bought the 2019 Schoolhouse and decanted it for three hours. At a blind test amongst mates, it rated very highly. The remaining 5 bottles are going to sit in the cellar for a few years. I have bought the 2014's without hesitation.

I have also bought the RSR's and are quite a fan of those as well, but I'm still getting through the 10's and 12's first.

I know it's hard, but sometimes have half the bottle on the first night and the other half the next night. This should give you an idea whether to let these wines breathe or not.

Cheers. Any current codes out there to seal the deal?

I did actually tried/consumed it over the two nights. I thought that it had a strong plum notes in the middle of the palate and lacked Eucalyptus/menthol notes that I normally look for/like in Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon. Maybe it was a bottle variation thing/bottle shock etc.

I agree with this. I liked the 2013 RSR I bought, particularly for the price (abt $17 after discounts), but it was very unlike what I expected from an aged coonawarra CS. Very fruity and ripe, without any herbal hint: really quite tasty but not as 'elegant' as expected. Still good value.

Just grabbed this. Well known outfit (ex torbreck winemaker) and 2020 is a good vintage for Barossa.

Looks to be a VM exclusive but previously good reports on the cheaper riverside GSM.
Looking forward to your TN and feedback once you've a chance to try it ! Considering between the riverside or this

It looks like it sold out. I did try my mates bottle and was half sorry I didn’t get it. It is a quality shiraz, quite powerful, a lot of dark fruit upfront style. Intense and dense.

With the $30 off code (thanks chonka) and free shipping it was enough to tip me to buy this:
I don’t know what it is but I’m hoping it’s as good as the blurb.
Ulithorne Paternus I believe. You can usually find what these are by searching this thread.
