Yes it's excellent gear but will benefit from more cellar time so you don't need to rush. My remaining five are in the cellar and I wont open the next one until 2026.

Currently the Oak is very prominent which will mellow with time.
Thank you. I might open one later this year or next year to try. It is normally not my preferred style as I dislike Grenache for some reason. But feel the need to mix it up a little from time to time.

Exciting............ not another Hewitson?! edit: cant be it's McLaren Vale!

I've got some extremely exciting news for you! A few years ago, we stocked some wines from an absolutely iconic McLaren Vale producer at big discounts. For years, we've been receiving requests to stock more from this producer again, and I can happily say that the calls have finally been answered!

This 2020 Shiraz is insanely highly decorated, and currently sits in Vivino's top 10 Australian Shiraz list above Rockford Basket Press, Hesnchke Mt Edelstone and the Standish, with a score of 4.5.

This is seriously one of the best Shiraz deals we've seen since we sold $500 fridge magnets with bottles of free Grange attached. We've got it at $39.90 down from $150 per bottle in 6-packs, so it will go quick.

There's only a limited number, and this will go out to site tomorrow, so let me know asap if you're keen to secure a case.

Curtis Martin's Vineyard Shiraz 2020
Probably cheaper on WineDirect as a mystery wine with code, but I can't be bothered looking it up.

Ok here it is Secret 97pt Uber Premium 2020 McLaren Vale Shiraz 6 Pack
Code Secretdrop may still work.

$35 on Winestar where I ordered it a while ago: Mystery MC201 Reserve McLaren Vale Shiraz 2020 - Mystery Wine

I really like that one, quite fruity and accessible yet some complexity. I have also really liked Curtis' Pasha Shiraz which also has an inflated RRP.

In my view value sits somewhere in the middle between $35 and $150, but YMMV

WED10 for $10 off and free shipping. There you go Nanachi
Thanks heaps, happily picking up another 6pack of "the blend", imo it's very good value for the price. I have no idea what they've done with that wine and why it tastes so good, i think i might have an inclination for the french oak they've used in it.

Did you use the $18.90 /btl link? I think the main site link is back at $19.90 /btl

I didn't! That's a bit annoying, the best i could find was the 19.90/bottle link, is that link from a previous sale that they never took down? I'm only now realising that most of their previous promotions are still ongoing.

damn just bought another case last night! Oh well - happy with 19.90 anyway!

Rall Wines White 2020 from South Africa - Excellent wine was also about half price
Agreed, their white grenache was excellent and a great match for Indian food. The Domaine Anita bojos are also gorgeous. Have just received the David and Nadia Aristogos which is up tonight.

But agreed also that there's a lot of dross these days, especially Aussie wines.

Still this? Anyone tried?
