Vinomofo Wine Deals

What are your thoughts on the Giesen Clayvin Pinot Noir? Pinot Noir 2018 - MAYDAY Deal #41892
I don't have a lot of pinot at the moment, so is it worth the $35? The wine seems to have been on VM for ages but has generally reasonable reviews.

With the $20 code floating about it it was $159 for the 6, so at $26 a bottle its good value in my opinion. The order arrived earlier, so first bottle being sampled. I don't agree with the 98 point rating on the 2019 (which was what I got), a bit too high. Unquestionably one of best value Pinot's I've bought recently.

Agree - had one tonight too and at the price a great buy. Thanks to whoever pointed out the 2019 was cheaper and better rated than the 2018! I also grabbed some bay of fires pinot from cellarone for just under $40 but that is a much lighter style although very good drinking too if anyone considering.

I have been seduced by the advertising and knocked back six for $115 to put a hole in my six month wine purchasing amnesty. Went 42 days early but hec, I'm human and winter is coming. Reviews seem favourable and if you went back for more then that's good enough for me.
If it isn't there's always one free bot and a call to the Fo.
Cracked one last night. Very good indeed and it did open up after about an hour. However something in me told me to get the thermometer out. It wasn't stuck in my mouth at the time mind you but 16 degrees C was the temp. I reckon it was 2 degrees too cool therefore the real essence of this Reschke RSR 2014 Cabernet will be more on display next time. But it's a very good wine indeed because in those days the R brothers were doing some good things. There is a lot going on in there with it.

Bumping this, this is available again in 2019 format for lovers of it previously

Also, anyone have feedback on "lost wolf shiraz"? Only mention I could find on here was 2015, currently running a 4.3 on vivino.

Its a nice rich SA shiraz full body long finish.
definitely drink over the next few years. It was not as good the next night . lovely wine but lacked a little wow factor..
