Vinomofo Wine Deals

Made for Fo nonwithstanding, the Powell & Sons The Blend 2020 was well received here if I recall. Has anyone tried the 2021 that's now on offer?

Or the 2021 Riverside GMS? I bought into a previous vintage of that and it was great quaffer.
I thought it was excellent, particularly at the price point. But that is beside the point of the RRP pulled out of Fo … where the sun doesn’t shine.

Got my Sharktooth delivered today and couldn’t wait to open it. Not a typical Shiraz, maybe that’s McLaren Vale vs Barossa. Very spicy straight out of the bottle, tobacco, licorice, blackberries. Complexity in spades, easily the best $15 wine I’ve had in a long time!

Pity it’s all sold out now :-(

I see vinomofo have the Rall Red 2020 - I got the white earlier in the year and very impressed. Has anyone tried the red and could advise if worth the $45 price tag?

Probably depends on your tolerance for green pepper. I found it quite smooth and just about full bodied but while I do find some appeal in green pepper notes, this was a bit overwhelming. Like you, I really enjoyed the whites and bought the red on that basis but I wouldn't buy the red again. I should add that this was for the 2019 red.

Thanks for opinion - will hold on this and jump on some more Rall white instead that they also have

Any ideas on the 2017 Heathcote shiraz in a heavy bottle with etched copper label. Down from $180 to $37.50?

Thanks for the info.

Has anyone tried the Ulithorne Paternus 2020 Shiraz? I was a big fan of the 2018 and was wondering whether the 2020 vintage stacks up. Thanking you in advance.

Haven't tried the Paternus but on another note just about to send back a dozen of the 2021 Z wines Hedley Shiraz (which in fact was a return credit for another recent purchase:oops:) and curious to hear other punters take on it. There was a bit of action on the nose which augured well but very little happening on the palate, bland and insipid spring to mind...

I got a six of Z wine plowman shiraz a while ago. Beautiful bottles and rrp over $100. Was pretty bad. Sweet and insipid yep. Wasn't brave enough to return.
