As I understand it currently, to become a Stonewaller:Is this membership with Rockford? how can you get membership?
Id be very keen on that
Intresting, I didn't even know they had a membership programAs I understand it currently, to become a Stonewaller:
1. Get on the mailing list
2. Buy lots of wine for x years, where x is unknown, but probably at least 5 nowadays
3. Wait for enough current Stonewallers to die
If it was allowed I'd sell you my membership at a reasonable price.
Received mine yesterday. Will try within these few days.Just tried the 2020 tonight. Very nice, super concentrated fruit and fine grained tannins. Haven't had many wines that compare. Should cellar for a while.
VM Uncovered shows all of them for me...Anyone have any info on some current VM offers? They don’t seem to have much of a description to google anymore and VM Uncovered or Unwraps doesn’t show anything.

My friends went through the procedure 1-2 years ago so unless it changed - they were told to buy wine from their list. No minimum was specified and both of them bought a dozen of a mixed selection. (I can wholeheartedly recommend their Riesling if available for under $30)
Then in first week in March they emailed them again and requested Basket Press. Both were offered 3 bottles of the current then BP and also 3 bottles of Black Shiraz sparkling.
This is essence is the bug bear when paying a lot more moolah for what you assume will be nectar for the Gods.I recently bought and tried Voyager Estate Cab Sav 2017 and quite frankly it was barely drinkable. Exactly how you described, green, high on acid, low on fruit and abrasive to drink. Very disappointed with their flagship Cab Sav. I remember fabulous Voyager Estate CS from the past.

I get that. In my case I fondly remembered how much I enjoyed Voyager CS the very first time I tried it. And went to the winery later and had a great tasting experience. Hence I was bitterly disappointed given how much forward I was looking to sample it. Here is hoping that the Juniper estate from VM will offer a better experience. This is essence is the bug bear when paying a lot more moolah for what you assume will be nectar for the Gods.
Maybe you and I aren't Gods then.
For me in terms of Aussie wines, probably the Derwent Estate Lime Kiln Point pinot 2018 and Peos Estate Four Kings Pinot 2022. I tend to buy more foreign wines though and the various options from Domain Anita have been great, although less bang for buck for surehavent't put much into the 'Fo's staff Christmas party this year but was wondering what people's Number 1 bang for buck Fo wine was.
Agree - the Peos Estate Pinot was excellent and no-one seemed to be buying it so I bought even more! For me in terms of Aussie wines, probably the Derwent Estate Lime Kiln Point pinot 2018 and Peos Estate Four Kings Pinot 2022.
