Vinomofo Wine Deals

Agree. Just curious why Clarendon Hills had so many corked and cooked issues reported but not the others?
I believe they were shipped halfway around the world and back before being sold…someone else may be able to confirm.

I didn’t buy any magnums because I still have some bottles from the $10/btl deal…these have been drinking very well so far.

Maybe I am lucky enough. I haven’t bought the $10 Merlot but I haven’t got any corked issue from all other CH I bought. The 2004 CH Brookman Syrah I bought from Langtons years ago was still in good condition.

Has it really been that good buying ? I'm new to wines but it all seems a bit pricey to me.
Bargains that you'd expect aren't there in great quantities. There is a hell of a lot in storage so wait for the special ' reserve' bottles . In a way i am glad I stocked up sufficiently with the Fo 5 to 8 years ago as that was a great era for the sub $15 ones. Not had a dud and down to ten per cent liver function due to excessive consumption. Joking of course but I am not keen to leave the sprogs my stuff when their appreciation is less than mine. In this world, it's all about marketing. Why else does Penfolds keep going with their prices. Had a brother in laws St henri lately, I think a 2015. Mediocre. Had a 2017 Rosenvale Vine Shiraz lst wek. Jolly good old chap.

I see there’s currently free delivery. If there was a code out there for a discount I’d be keen to know. Thank you in advance

Thanks for the recommendation @olympicwiz :) Normally would leave it down for a few more years but curiosity got the better of me. You were quite right about this one. Terrific.
Glad I came to the party on this one too - a very good drop. Interesting the price has gone up to $29.99 - maybe after the recent buys they decided to add $5 on each bottle. Thanks for the recommendation @olympicwiz

I have received a $20 VM coupon - not sure if it is a single use - hit me up via PM if interested

PS - it has been claimed now

Any discount codes active?

checked referral thread?

Those magnums are actually a no-brainer deal without considering the shipping cost
Only if they aren't corked/cooked, which if you've been following along is a reasonable prospect.

yes, that's according to a comment by Andrew Graham on Winefront back in November 2020, when they were being sold by Woolworths Group businesses, as well as Get Wines Direct

China removes tariffs on Australian wine as relations improve

Better stock up on some good deals this next 12 months before they slow down?
Were there plenty of good deals in the years while China exports were booming before they hit us with tariffs? - Yes.
Will the Chinese export market return to prior levels in the next 12 months? - No
There have been good deals every year since 1974 when enforcement of RRP was made illegal, it waxes and wanes a little over time, but with the lake of 2017 reds dwindling to a sludgy pond and more 2018/2019/2020 excesses hitting the market I don't see a need to rush into careless buys.
