Vinomofo Wine Deals

Can't get interested in stuff in two's… not so bad if it's so so .. but if it's fantastic you only have one more… :-(

I did find a very good review for my Almond Grove Mourvedre , so looking forward to it's arrival.
The marketing spin on price is interesting ..
The current vintage might be $75rrp… but the 06 was $50rrp ( although need to consider the cost of storing it for 8 years.. carefully I hope…)

Slightly OT but still refers to Vinomofo:

Your order has been dispatched by our warehouse team in the Barossa, and is on its way to you.
We deliver with Nexday, and it usually takes 2-4 days to most metro areas

I find that delivery is a bit of a problem with vinomofo, although it shouldn't be with you Buzz, as their warehouse is in the Barossa.

The order I placed last Friday isn't here yet. Looking at Nexday tracking, it was with a driver for delivery at 13:21:40 yesterday, but hasn't arrived at my suburban address yet.

I hope its the Brookland Valley 2012 Chardy.

I find delivery from anyone with Nexday is a problem but (cross fingers) havent had a loss yet.

Cellarmasters delivered to same house no in next street (who thankfully know us), items where they have a left a "not at home" notice when people are clearly at home (didnt ring the bell or anything), dump and run where they have ignored my "please leave out of sight" request (which is not hard at our house). Maybe its just our local Nexday franchisee but have heard similar complaints other areas about them.

I just joined up (we need to spend less on alcohol, this seems like the best way, haha), so apologies for my upcoming questions:

How are you guys knowing what's on offer? Am I missing the details? I'm curious about today's Margaret River Zinfandel (we enjoyed the Cape Mentelle we had recently). Does anyone know if it's likely to be any good?

BLACK MARKET DEAL Zinfandel 2012 - Vinomofo

My guess would be Churchview St John Zinfandel. They have done quite a bit of Churchview stuff before. Have not tried this one so can not comment sorry.

My spies agree with this that it is Churchview Estate St Johns Limited Release, 16.0% a/v.

Thanks for the info guys. Most useful. :) I might skip it though, I'm really after some shiraz for hubby.
