Vinomofo Wine Deals

A little feedback on the Le Sorelle, I got one in a salvation pack and have it open right now. I find it very easy drinking, but literally easy drinking, which isn't the same thing as superstar quality. I find it quick to drink a lot because it's inoffensive and pretty bland. You can gulp it with your dinner. I personally wouldn't buy a whole carton of it.

But of course, tastebuds are subjective, I'd be interested in what other people thought of it.

I'm not so proud or pretentious that I have the need to make myself appear so superior to everyone else.

So let me be extremely explicit. I believe that it is Fox Creek and I've ordered 5 cases on that basis.

Ok so Fox creek can be very good but is Fox and Hound very good? I've ordered 2 cases so I will find out but 5 is rather a lot.
Edit: I mean 5 is a lot for me.

I bought a case of the Chalmers Arturo Shiraz a few months ago and I would say the taste experience is similar. Good quality quaffer for the Arturo, and it is a most funky flavoured wine. It isn't a top ender, and at $35 a bot you would be very disappointed, but as a dining opener, it more than satisfies.

I was worried my wife wouldn't like the arturo but she loves it. Having now bought ~15 cases from vm I think it's no worse than average bang for buck if not higher.

I don't know, I haven't been to Fox Creek CD for many years now, last tried one of the F&H about 9 years ago. It is priced higher than the Short Row, but generally a big discount for volume buys on the CD-only wines.
I ordered a case, we'll all know soon enough.

Yeah, a few ungrateful impatient people here, but mostly seem Ok.

Ungrateful? Impatient? That's not what I've been seeing. Rather I've seen comments from people that are frustrated with your games.

Thanks for adding further evidence to indicate that you are trolling for additional customers.

I've no doubt that people can now clearly see your motives and tactics.

Think you got this just right good Dr. I've been lurking for a long time on this message board but felt compelled to join to comment on this bullying.

As a new member I was curious about what you were saying so I had a look back through all of the previous messages (great feature AFF!). The Bigot guys website is mentioned a lot and there are clear references which say from him that the names of the hidden vinomofo deals are revealed on his website. Given he charges for membership of his website the only conclusion I could make was that he was trying to increase membership for his site by providing hints but never the name of the wine. He clearly wants people to go to his website where he has told you you will find the wines name. Surely everyone can se this.

I'll make no further comment on the matter, nor respond to the inappropriate taunts from mr bigot..

This is the best thing you could have said good Dr. Clearly he was trying to bait you.

As a new member that has lurked for some time, I want to thank those people who have provded the names of the wines. I've never enjoyed seeing those comments from people who think they are superior and know the wines name but refuse to share it.

Question for AFF people, is there a way to block seeing messages from particular members. Because I certainly wouldn't want to continue seeing messages from devious characters/internet trolls.

He's certainly not contributing anything of value here, I know that much. Put up or shut up please!

Rather blunt. But exactly what I was thinking.

Sorry for such a downer as a first message, but I would hate to see this message board ruined. I know I've benefited from it enormously and once again thanks to all those that have contributed to it in a positive way.

Yes, just go to Settings, My Account, Edit Ignore List and add my username.
You are welcome. :-)

Gents... Can we keep the discussion a little more positive going forward? Less personal attacks on Mr RedBigot.
After all, we're all after the same goal of identifying great wine at great prices.

Mr RB as a suggestion ...your site would be even better if you removed some of the past offers from the front page. Don't want our mates to know how much we paid for their bday present.

:-) The public home page listings of past good deals were a primitive form of SEO when I was looking for a few more members last year. I've stopped adding to the list since February, but I'll probably leave what is there for a while.
