Great post. Not come across this site before. They have some good offers. Thanks for the great tips. Much appreciated.
Hey wozza, as I was going back to discern the cryptic clue about the w.a red, clues given something about four and nine by I can't remember, I found this.
In particular Hoddles creek pinot.
Now, over the years I have had a few of these and they are good. However, this is a segue into the pinot here being sold under a own label from a retailer in kew.
Whether this is apocryphal or not, I dunno. But it could be factual.
Piedemontes sells many white labelled wines.
Piedemontes may be owned in part by the Italian guy who owns Hoddles creek winery. Ah hum.
So they have sold some Yarra valley pinot before for about ten dollars. One or two years of this has been stunning so is it possible that the twenty bucker with a proprietary label is the same stuff Piedemontes sells for ten to twelve??
Who really knows, but it's a good story and once or twice the pinot has been extremely good.
Now back to trying to work how how the cryptic clues fit in to the w.a. wine.....clearly I have nothing better to do after watching jimi hocking play again.
now electrotek, I like the odd crptic, but all of mine is in four and nine......let the cat out of the bag with this beauty....
after reading this I am still bamboozled, perplexed and quite even puzzled.

[h=2]VINTAGE[/h]2010 was a cracking vintage with some of the most perfect conditions ever seen in Margaret River. Long, slow even ripening conditions lead to marvellous balance between the winemaking parameters of sugar, flavour, acid and secondary compounds such as tannins.
