Welcome to Club AFF, hachoo.

Confirmed with VM that this is a grey import. Thanks, but no thanks.

If it sounds too good to be true...
Does grey import necessarily mean = inconsistent storage conditions?
Then again official import doesn't necessarily mean optimal storage conditions once it arrives at the retailer..

Doesn't imply it, but I'd imagine you have even less recourse should the product not be up to scratch. You hear stories of grey imports that were originally destined for country A. For whatever reason, deal falls through and then shipped on to Australia. In the mean time its sat on the docks in an unrefrigerated contained for how long?

In short, I just see it as too much of a risk.

Whilst I agree, don't VM have a very generous return policy? I'm sure if it would cover cooked champagne!

I'm out as well. We're having 'povo September'. It's the third year in a row. Povo September = no unnecessary purchases for a month! Time to clean out the fridge, freezer, cupboards and wine cellar!

Alright, I'm invoking a no Vinomofo month in September. If you could all kindly refrain from posting in this thread, it would be appreciated.

I might just make up the deficit for you two :p

I've done enough damage elsewhere this week. Between TomVexille and myself we've had/have four cases coming in
