mof_ SECRET Deal Shiraz Blend 2012 - Red Wine

Hope you guys can help!

I recall someone mentioned earlier the 2012 Barossa Shiraz - $50 down to $22.50 is the Fox Gordon.

On another free shipping wine, the cape mentelle Shiraz is a great wine however I've never paid more than $33 a bottle for past vintages from uncle Dan or vintage cellars. Not sure how they got their $46rrpt from.

$1000 pre paid visa? I'll give you $750 cash for it! Otherwise, from memory, I think you'll find that each of the wines you have asked about have already been covered in this thread. Just search the earlier posts.

They usually get the RRP from the producer. I was at Cape Mentelle in July this year and I can confirm that on site they were charging this price. I didn't purchase any though. But I did buy some museum released Zinfandel.

If you're a fan of d'arenberg, the current 2009 mof_ SECRET Cab Sav deal 2009 is their Coppermine Road

I think it's right after googling the technical details which d'arenberg list on their website.

~appears to be correct. someone on these forums mentioned this (must be repeat deal)

I'm banned from ordering this month, but not receiving my orders from last month. Salvation case, 2012 GSM Secret Deal and Cabernet Lineup 2 (I'm sharing the GSM at least).

The GSM:

My Salvation Case:

The missus had a big (bad) night on red on Friday night, so I might be drinking them on my own for a while.

[Edit: the photos aren't as clear as I'd hoped, so the salvation case is:

2012 Alchemists' Reserve Elixir SSB
2013 Mitolo Jester Pinot Grigio
2011 Burnbrae Chardonnay
2011 Cups Estate Pinot Noir
2011 Brookland Valley Cab Merlot
2011 Greedy Sheet Cab Merlot
2009 Butler Crest Cab Sav
2011 Warner Glen Estate Cab Sav
2011 Patritti Saperavi
2012 Churchview St Johns Zinfandel
2012 Gemtree Uncut Shiraz
2009 K1 Tzimmukin]

Me too... Except for some wine I may have bought this morning... oops

And you missed out on free shipping? Shame on you!

I prevaricated and finally grabbed a case of the Wynns Siding, but could not check out. Seems someone had beaten me to the last case :( Never mind it seems to be around at reasonable prices elsewhere.

Does anyone have any idea what the Black Market McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2012 is? I'm in the market for some cab Sav. I was thinking Pertaringa Rifle & Hunt, the RRP is right, but the alcohol content is off by 0.5%.

Could be right. Pertaringa have featured heavily on vinomofo over the past few months. And there have been some errors with the reported alcohol content and what's actually on the bottle creeping in lately.

What I'd be more concerned about is the 90 pt score from Halliday. Given 95 is probably his average now, a score of 90 would have me extremely worried (surely it constitutes a failure). I wouldn't buy without having had an opportunity to taste first. Of course, you could use the free return policy vinomofo offer to do a taste test for yourself and return the rest if you aren't happy.

I would assume then that the 93 point WA Shiraz for $10.50 is not a real bargain even at 70% off RRP.

Bargain is a relative term. Would you pay even $4 or $5 for a bottle of wine that you hated? Saving 99% wouldn't interest me if I was buying something I didn't want or hated.

There aren't many wines that Halliday scores 90 or below.

I havent bought the wa shiraz (bellarmine) myself but it hasnt gotten good reviews from the people i have talked to who have bought it.

I think I have it figured! Although I can't find alcohol content to check. I think this wine is Haselgrove Protector McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2012. 90 from Halliday, and no, not very tempted!

I'm glad I went with the SA Shiraz which turned out to be K1 by Geoff Hardy. Enjoying a glass right now :)
