The Warramate on the second night is spectacular I have to say. The Victorian shiraz's are something I need to look into more - the Glenlofty, now this...not blown away by these, but the golden lion i am interested in matching up against the 2013 i already have! Thoughts on the rest?
its not lou Miranda
not grant burge
not chateau Tanunda
went close, but not seppeltsfield
john duval entity it aint...I give in
The 2012 shiraz is pretty good, but the 2012 shiraz viognier is spectacular, especially for $7.50 or whatever it was.I had another Glenlofty Shiraz last night - they really impress me

Kaesler Bogan?Had a few tough ones to crack recently - This one even says it is cryptic in the description!

I'm pretty sure The Bogan is cork not screw cap. Unless they've changed for the new vintage.Kaesler Bogan?

What VM are great at is finding those $7.80 bottles of wine that normally sell for between $15 and $28, and ones that we would never had the ability to try. Mt Avoca cabernet springs to mind, there are many more of course. The 2012 shiraz is pretty good, but the 2012 shiraz viognier is spectacular, especially for $7.50 or whatever it was.
The "club" price is $45, and the VM description says five star, so thought it might be a VM bend of the truth! Also sells for $50 and is also a Red Star vineyard. No mention of a 2014 vintage on their website. I don't think it's the Bogan
While we are still figuring out the new Shiraz, ANOTHER Adealide Hills 2013 Pinot pops up! I'm going to say it's definitely not Tomich Hill or Petaluma haha

Randall tomich....those two names create anxiety in me, I get scratchy, creepy skin sensations, like scabies, just like a Tick TockVery wary of ordering more Adelaide Hills pinot noir after the last couple of debacles...
Cabernet, Coonawarra and 2012 gets my attention. Can't say I have ever tried any Tretham Estate. Anyone here have any experience with this winery?
Judging by their website, it "feels" good. Also, sixteen and a half quid, that's twice, in England, and these guys sell over half overseas. Should be a winner for you.No direct experience, but I'm taking a punt on this one. Fingers crossed. I'll report back in a week or so...
