Anyone have any recommendations on the secret deals..

I'm a little overwhelmed for choice with 30 or 40.. i'd buy a couple of cases but don't have the time to go through all of them work out what they all are

This is the Willoughby Park Kalgan Ironrock Shiraz which is quite a nice drop if you're looking for Shriaz.

Summer Hill Wine Shop

Decent prices, cheaper than Winestar, but Summer Hill are out our stock on the Gippsland which everyone says is fantastic.

For anyone who is looking for a fantastic cheap white for summer I would recommend the Patrick Estate Riesling

I dont know anything about riesling but its pretty awesome for the price. Just bought another case. Have been waiting for it to come around again for a while.

Also to whoever has been on the same cheap but good Pinot Noir hunt as I have for the last few months; I would recommed trying the Wickham's Rd Yarra Valley 2015. Should be able to get it for ~$16 in a 6pack

Probably off topic but AMEN BROTHER, I just got 24 of the Wickham Yarra after a 6 pack I got to try earlier. Best value Pinot in AUS and really tasty. (needs a couple of years in cellar - made by hoddle's creek).

Interesting that my last two cases via NextDay didn't have my name on the cases at all. Really! Just an address, no name. This would be fine if it were going to my house, but going to my local newsagent for pickup no name is a big deal. My newsagent man saw the problem and my name was on the drivers manifest, but the address labels on the cases had no name. I haven't changes any details on my account and they've shipped with my name before, so dunno what went wrong there.

I just picked up a case from my local Parcel Point and guess what - there was no name on the delivery label! Thankfully the guy on duty recognised me so there were no problems, but I dread to think what would have happened if there was someone on duty that didn't recognised me. Hopefully my name is in the Parcel Point delivery system, so they could check there.

The graphical layout of the delivery sticker looked quite different to the last one, so I'm wondering if it was generated on a different system.

if you want a great Riesling, medium to full bodied, definitely more towards the fuller, great flavours, Jim barry warervale Riesling 2015. At dan murphys, fifteen bucks a single. Buy one and see.
That wichhams pinit that dmz recommended I knew nothing about but hoddles creek own a kew based supermarket with a great grog shop attached. cleanskin pinot can be hoddles creek pinot at ten to twelve. had one a few years ago and it was a blinder for a tenner. so I am going to go searching for the wichams. as you should.

I received a bottle of the Patrick in the Big Boom box, I might have to give it a try. I have also been enjoying the Schild Estate Riesling which I bought a case of. Nothing pretentious, but a very refreshing drink.

I too have about thre Patrick Rieslings from various cases. have not had one but CLEARLY it is a WINNER

Close, but no cigar He's a 5 year old Russian Blue. I believe this breed dates back centuries to a cross between a cunning fox and a spoilt brat.

I did think of this at first but I didn't think his eyes were round enough and his fur didn't appear to be as thick, but he's a pretty boy. I have two boys at home, one like yours an inquisitive master and another grey scaredy cat.
I have a few great cat photos which I will share later. I just have to associate them with a vinomofo deal to make them relevant.

Guys, there are other threads to discuss "nice wines to drink" or deal from other vendors. Not here please.

Is there a thread for cat breeding and the genetic nuances of different breeds. Hang on VM did adopt a pet in the workplace a while ago so I guess cats are on topic. Cut a bit of slack. Dr Ralph cops it for commenting on VM delivery which is a legitimate part of the whole wine buying experience from a company whose shopfront is the internet and gets jumped on (Unfair). If we are to be strictly on topic for a thread labelled as "Re: Vinomofo secret wine deals". Then we should not be commenting on Identified Wines or VIM deals or Black Market Deals. I think the thread over its time has come to encompass the whole VinoMofo buying experience and yes we sometimes wander but I think it is the job of the Moderators to Moderate not the users. The whole VinoMofo secret deal includes delivery and the Cat Scan and the Dummy Spit or the Praise and the Return of the unwanted secret deal and the alternatives out there as comparison. Lighten Up a bit and enjoy hearing everyones Vinomofo experiences even if they differ from yours.
