Hi all. I've had a search (I'm not the best at searching on the forum), but can't come up with what today's BM Premium 2014 Shiraz from McLaren Vale - $90 down to $29.90 seems a steal. It says restocked so I'm sure this ground has been covered before. Anyone have any ideas?

Just checked my emails ... its the same from the VIM email from Jan 25 ... so my guess will be Haselgrove the Lear 2014

Long discussion back around #7241 whether a 2014 wine would be worth anywhere near $90 or not.

Haselgrove The Lear

Reports are it is a good wine, and great value for $30 but not worth $90. I am yet to try a bottle.

Lofty SV tempting...

Any idea what the BM Margaret River Cabernet is? rrp$36- $11.90 Doesn't indicate if its new or restocked. Tried to search but nothing came up.

Not much turns up. I did search that but with the selling price not the rrp (which I would of thought would be the correct figure to search for on these threads)

Not much does - the second link is what I think it is. Well, a newer vintage of what was offered before. Given there are no ratings, or anything else, in the VM description, there's really not much else other than taking an educated guess.

ahhh im in the same boat as you. dont think the 13 shiraz is anything special but the reviews on here of the last SV were very good. confused.

I just don't think a splash of viogner is going to lift the '13 shiraz into the stratosphere. The '12 shiraz was very smooth and quaffable unlike the '13, and then you add some viogner and WOOOOAAA!! the '12 SV became a brilliant wine with lovely grip and lifted flavours.

Unfortunately I found the '13 shiraz the worst of the mof_'d Glenlofty selection... and I've got them ALL!!

unfortunately i wasnt aware of the fo when the '12 SV came around but my first mof_ purchase was the 12 shiraz when it restocked and i loved it. same thoughts as you, so easy to drink compared to the 13.

I've had the 12 and 13 shiraz and the 12 cab sav and i agree the '13 shiraz is the worst of the lot.

will keep the self imposed ban in place haha.
