Vinomofo Wine Deals

Not doubting your investigative prowess I just thought that the region mismatch was enough to count it our of the running :) Doesn't Miss Harry match it quite well?

We're looking for a GSM where the "M" is for "Mataro" so this can't be Miss Harry.

Well, the writer also talks about "southern Rhone blends", and those are labelled Mourvedre, not Mataro :)

Now, if they were talking about a wholly different grape, like say, Malbec, then I think we need to do further digging.

Just got a call from my broker & can indeed confirm its the 2012 Miss Harry. Wasn't really paying attention but end of the day its got 94 from Campbell Mattinson so who's complaining at $12.50.

Its a bit strange - the email says it is back by popular demand then there is a mof_ newbie banner displayed

Ok Steady, you liked the Gundagai shiraz, and I likened it to a Tassie Spreighton pinot noir, well! Just received the kiwi Sugar Loaf pinot today, being impatient as i am had to try, a-b-s-olutey delicious, on delivery!! so imagine how good it will be in a few days, weeks, years! Going to get on the blower tomorrow to order more if they have it, this is is a favour alert, as although i have committed this and next months funds to futher expenses, i have to have more of this. I hope no-one else takes this seriously...

You need to venture out of the Vinomofo thread and post about the wines you like in this thread - the mods will delete off topic posts.
(while you are there have a look at post #5718) There are a number of wine threads covering lots of topics - one is specifically for Pinots

I will grab a Sugarloaf Ridge Pinot sometime and try it out - the Blustery Banks Pinots (actually from Weselyvale) were rippers

Ok, thanks Steady, but both the Gundagai shiraz, and the Sugar Loaf are vinomofo, hence the advice here. But will check out the other threads☺

I stuffed that up completely.... I Have also confused the Sugarloaf- I was thinking it was another Tassie gem like the Blustery Banks but re-reading your post it is a kiwi offering...

A bit late, but finally opened the Lou Miranda Golden Lion 2014. Looked, smelt and tasted ok at first, but in the ensuing hours tasted sweeter and sweeter. Almost a sweet port by the end - is it me or where do those syrup come from..

Don't even get me started on this cough!!!

Most things come back within a week or two. I'd give them a call if you really want it - they can give you stock levels of stuff that isn't up on the website.
