Vinomofo Wine Deals

Today's blackmarket sparkling deal (mof_ SECRET Deal Vintage Sparkling Rose 2006 - Sparkling), described as:

'Here’s a wine that will become your new go-to blush sparkling. With Christmas around the corner and summer already at your door, you can consider it an early gift. The only question is, have you been nice enough to get your hands on the naughtiest sparkling deal in the history of Vinomofo? We’ll let you be the judge.

From an iconic sparkling producer, this 2006 bottle aged sparkling rosé shows complexity and depth from age, yet continues to flourish with all the freshness and brilliant red fruits that you’d expect from pink bubbles. This is the real deal, leading with redcurrant, strawberry and blueberry notes, packed up by a mouthful of voluminous mousse and apple and citrus favoured bubbles. 96 points from the Royal Melbourne Show, 93 points from Sir Halliday, 4 gold medals (and a casual 20 other medals), a million points from us and only $11 a bottle. This is one of the best sparkling deals we’ve ever done and by now I’m sure you can agree.'

likely to be 2006 Yellowglen Vintage Perle Sparkling Rosé (even though some of the details may not match precisely - remember Vinomofo have frequently and deliberately put out partly incorrect information - including alcohol and region - about these deals to throw people off the trail).

Confirmed. They sold it to me yesterday as I'd bought some before.

Anyone have an idea with this one:

Taken a break from study. Has come up before, but is the Jester 2011 Shiraz from Mitolo Wines. Can't remember how far back it was sold but people here should be able to give you some impressions of it.

Regarding that Yellowglen Sparkling Rose: Is it any good, or is it cloying and sweet like a lot of Yellowglen's recent offers? Hubby's pretty keen to pick up a dozen, but if it's like a lolly water moscato, I'll give it a miss.

Not at all sweet like a moscato. I really enjoy it.

My not-so-secret Yellowglen arrived sometime between 4.30pm yesterday and 7am this morning. One courier who knows where to hide my deliveries (cf Epiqure/Aus Post).

I recall it came as $25 per bottle last time no? Also is it weird it has no Halliday Rating?

Sold Out Anywayz *sad face*
