Vinomofo Wine Deals

Whether it is or isn't or is made for VM, doesn't really matter as long as it has the goods, and based on the 2013 which was considered one of the best bargain buys last year, it's worth the punt

I agree, and I'm in.

Then again, I thought the Cantiniere was acceptable drinking :)

Fox and Hounds always pops up when I'm in the midst of a no-buying phase. Ah well, plenty of wine to drink at home already....

I know the feeling. Cheers

Smaller batch, made for VM wine is no big deal so long as it over delivers. Some may say more care is put into this type of contract manufacturing but the proof is found on your palate. With last years Fox and Hounds 2013 shiraz, I had a call from my fo broker saying it was a must buy. Of course he was correct and I thank him for it. I didn't get the chance to do any homework as the call came in whilst cycling the Darebin creek trail. This time around, you simply go on pedigree.

Now stubacca, do you like your music? and which two cases did you buy this week?

It really amazes me what the Fo pulls out after a period of melancholy and sameness. It keeps happening as Whinganddining is finding out. Ya can't take it wit ya now can ya. An investment in your health due to the wines' anti oxidants is the sales pitch to the spouses.

Too true about the Fo. My spouse is quite reasonable, I dont say anything about her Chandon and chocolate she says nothing about my wine. However when the cellar is full and you store wine elsewhere she then has a point about too much. Cheers

Jazz and a red on the verandah ain't a bad way to spend an evening!

No Fo for this week... yet. A couple of WineStar cases, though. Mike Press Cab Sav, and another mixture. Chalambar from Cracka arrived last week, too. That's 3 cases I wasn't going to buy this month. Bugger.

If the Fo come and pick up this case I've got sitting here to return, then I'll have a date with T. Hanks too.

Did the Mike Press (I'm a fan of theirs) come from WineStar?

Totally with you on all fronts BF, but I'd literally be buying a case a week, every week, if I allowed my base instincts to override my budgetary constraints and self-imposed fiscal austerity...Fox and Hounds will, like heaven, have to wait ;)

Her indoors usually has to drag the boxes inside to greet me when I get home from work so it's getting harder for her to ignore the extent of my addiction to internet wine purchases! Having three land in quick succession (at least I hope it's quick) will make it harder for me to argue "oh it's just the replacement case for the one I sent back", never mind, you're right, she has her Sav Blanc and I have my (mostly) Shiraz and we're all happy (not so sure my liver agrees)....

Hi...has anyone tried the Pirie sparkling? Thinking of ordering half a dozen, but not much cheaper than DM, although free postage on today.
