Mitolo Serpico? Points match ... alcohol content matches (15%) .... but RRP doesn't match Mitolo's website ($80) ...

It could be, sometimes wineries charge more for their cellar release stuff than their current vintage

Tempted to give it a go if it is the serpico.

Reviews of the 2008 from the website:

94 Points The 2008 Serpico was made in the Amarone method from grapes picked at around 12.5% and semi-dried slowly, finishing at around 15% alcohol. In 2008 it managed to side-skirt the heat as it was picked early. It was matured for 9 months in 100% new barriques, 90% French. Very deep garnet-purple colored, it gives pronounced notes of creme de cassis, Christmas cake, plum pudding, anise, cassia and nutmeg. The rich, full-bodied flavors are very spicy on the palate, off-set by crisp acid and medium-firm fine tannins, finishing with persistent, somewhat savory flavors of mincemeat and marmite toast. Drink this one 2013 to 2022+. erobertparker.com, Robert Parker by Lisa Perotti Brown M.W., December 2010

94 Points Red-purple; blackcurrant and dark chocolate aromas move into a very different setting on the palate, which is fine and juicy, giving no hint of its alcohol; instead the wine assumes a positively elegant posture. Once again, the work of a supremely talented winemaker. Drink 2020 2012 Australian Wine Companion, James Halliday. July 2011

Speaking of Cabernet, Mitolo’s Serpico – a Cabernet made from grapes that are air-dried, Amarone-style for five weeks – is utterly superb. It’s rich and sweet, but complex and well defined. One of Australia’s greats. wineanorak.com/wineblog, Jamie Goode, January 2011

Mitolo 2008 Serpico Cabernet Sauvignon. Made with partially dried grapes for intensity, the wine shows excellent depth and complexity and is seamless in style, with loads of black currant, black cherry, plum and coffee bean flavours. Another one to put in the cellar for several years. Your online newspaper for Guelph | Today’s Guelph Mercury stories, Dan Kislenko, November 2011

94/100 Ultra delicious with full-bodied juiciness and generousness. Smooth and wonderful with incredible layers of hedonistic happiness. Terrific with hearty meat dishes. Natalie MacLean: Canada's Largest Wine Review Site, Natalie MacLean, November 2011

I don't want to be a party pooper but here is Campbell Mattinson's Winefront review:Posted on 01 October 2014.
Full-on style. Sweet and warm, raisiny, slinky smooth fruitiness before the crash of tannin rolls in. Elegant in its own way but the hit of sweet flavour is substantial. Not a great deal of finish.

Rated : 89 Points
Alcohol : 15%
Price : $80
Closure : Screwcap
Drink : 2014 - 2019

Yes, also found this review of the same wine:

Jeremy Oliver (2008 Vintage) says:

A style of cabernet unsuited to vintages of extreme heat like 2008. Cooked, raisiny and marginally volatile, with heady, varnishy aromas of blackberries, briar and cassis with undertones of drier herbs and straw, it's earthy and meaty, with a forward, rather baked presence of fruit that becomes quite firm, drying and cloying towards its raisiny, dehydrated finish.

"I have really enjoyed the 6 Foot 6 range of wines with the exception of the 2014 shiraz. One of the worst wines I have ever tried and my opinion supported by others at the table, not one of whom could drink it. I returned it to my local retailer the very next morning and upon tasting he also shared my opinion."

I should say that two other customer reviews seemingly referring to the shiraz said they liked the wine.

I should point out I made a mistake when I wrote that review (it was late last night). It's actually the 2013 I was drinking.

I'm beginning to kick myself big time for not having jumped on the Epsilon bandwagon first time round, maybe the good folks at the 'Fo will give it another tour of duty, if that's the case (and because I trust your impeccable judgement in these matters) I will grab a dozen-let's hope!!

82pts, drink 2013-2016

Whining and dining - your prayers are answered.
Same 2014........
If I didn't have so much, I would have got another case, but I am being disciplined. I am now spending it on car insurance instead.

premium ... a stunning 12year old avant-garde E. Seriously nice .

And who said Vinomofo aren't what they used to be?

a stunning 12 year old premium offering that's seriously nice - I guess being German it is a Riesling? must have been in one of the CLWP1 VIM members emails I don't get yet

Beefamer - the Epsilon Temp is back on - was this the one you swooned over?

And what is this 12YO German Wunderkid? The FO still havent managed to send me VIM's despite following up and purchase history

the 12yo has a sleek silver finish, respondent with black licorice on the bottom palate. A nice full body leading to an honest exhaust note with both barrels firing. A very nice bouquet of black leather fills the nostrils, but being nearly a teenager, this disappeared quickly. Marlon Brandon would have been proud of the huge expanse in the rear, reminiscent of a large bathtub. A distinctive benzene odor at the tail end, typically German in origin, brings great delight to the senses. With the sound of Chris Isaak pumping through ten speakers, I knew that when I went back for a second glass, it was a mere formality in putting pen to paper. Dankeschen.

It's the correct tempy, but don't just take my word for it. About 8 folk on Monday loved it as well, all 4 bottles.
