I wondered that might happen as I saw it on a good food guide email. I tested it an hour ago and it deducted $25 from my purchase (existing account), so looks like they've restricted it. Sorry

- Forest Hill Block 5 Cabernet 2010
- Shirvington Shiraz and Cabernet 2009

Forest Hill Block 5 Cab was up this morning (I grabbed another case)
Shirvington Cabernet 2009 and Shirvington Shiraz 2013 are also up today
The Kay Bros Block 6 2005 was a VIM deal - $80/bottle - probably best to call. It's under screwcap, and was a great drink.
The Struie wasn't on their website - I got a call about that.
Shirvington 2009 Shiraz is sold-out.

Sometimes it's easy to miss the roses among the thorns, what was the Struie going for?

The Forest Hill Block 5 is a decent drop; however, the latest release of the Block 1 Riesling is phenomenal if you like your Riesling bony dry with gobs of minerality. I met one of the winemakers last week, a young fellow, but a hell of a lot of passion and knowledge. Expecting to see more good things from Forest Hill in the future.

Forest Hill's been making great wine for years...
Halliday reckons they're one of WA's top producers. I've been buying their Shiraz, Cab and Chardonnay (Block series) when I see them come up on special.

Beware of the Forest Hill 2011 Block 5 Cab that's been up recently. I returned mine, not good at all. I do on the whole like their wines. Even their Estate Chardonnay is very good.

I recall WineMarket peddling some 2011 Block 5 cab - got very mixed reviews, with complaints of it being heat affected etc. Was VM also peddling the 2011?
