Hi kfc; not that I am aware of but basically 2 pages per day is usually the max unless there is some hot topics being discussed. Easier to ask the questions as most esteemed members { especially redbigot and AC}are happy to help as you would have noticed; that's what this thread is for. It does not take much to glance every one or two days. If anything is of interest ask or write the # number for reference. For example the Haselgrove was #12963; #12964; #12965; #13013; #13133 and # 13148. You will find as time goes by how much you soon pick up you wont be a rookie for long. Welcome to the group. Cheers Rug

Hi kfc,

There is a section labelled 'Search Thread' on the top right of the page, under the 'Likes'. You can use this functionality to search this thread only.

It would help if people posted some salient details of the wine they want to know about in their post e.g. McLaren Vale Cabernet 2012 $40 down to $12.50, rather than just posting a link.
That way, anyone searching later can use those details as search terms.

I used to post the wine details as part of the answer, but after a while, it just becomes a pain for me to do all the work, rather than the requestors :)

Thanks Rug, tielec and AC. Just tried the search box with a random region / year / varietal and only got one result for 2017 so that doesn't seem all that helpful.

Fair point AC - although I'm not being lazy in asking without searching myself... just having much less luck matching the secret / black deals than I used to. Cellary used to be okay but I don't get much love from that anymore either.

Am finding that I'm returning more than I'm keeping at present. :(

Yeah, I'm happy to help out a bit, but my priority is my own subscribers, so may not be timely.

I think it is probably The Switch, but that's mostly just based on general info and the price point of previous offers of that wine.

That's one problem of being part of a larger Forum, unless you have some discipline for Titles in posts or wine/deal info in the body it makes searching very difficult, whereas a specialised Forum can have a distinctly named thread for each wine, making searching easy.

I've noticed the last few BM deals have had quite vague descriptions, not leaving much to go on. Usually the Haselgrove has at least the Dark Horse moniker

Hi kfc; try to remember the blurbs used to sell the wine or whats on the advertisement as VM have a habit of using the same ones again for a product; or as chonka pointed out something like dark horse or cult on the front. As time goes by you will notice regular prices that help to give it away. Other ways are a paid subscription or the search box up the very top right of the page or ask and include a link or what other details you have so the esteemed members can help. Cheers Rug

Any ideas - sorry if someone has identified earlier. Tried to find similar listing on wine companion but nothing fits exactly.

2015 Margan White Label Semillon

Price drop from $14.90
Cant give feedback on it. Havent tried one yet.

got my VM email today and i'm always on the lookout for a nice GSM. Saw the main feature is a 2014 Barossa GMS.

Some creative googling and im fairly certain its 2014 Schild Estate GMS.

Some more googling sent me back a fair way in this thread to 2015 where there was mention of the 2013 GMS from Schild and the consensus was it was a great drop for the price.

Think i will boom a case given i have some credit on my account.

I grabbed some of this a month ago - Schild is correct. I really like the '13
