Vinomofo Wine Deals

I think I made a very good investment with an excellent potential return: I can't resist myself buying another case of Glenlofty Shiraz 2011 last night, the third in total.

I am sure it still has the potential to improve if I cellar it for 2-3 years! :)

At $7.8 per bottle from Vinomofo, it worth every penny I spent. I am wondering what it will cost for the 2012 vintage.
The glenlofty is skill in winemaking personified

Enjoying myself in palm cove, tonight's Thái has a verdelho and a pinot grig chilling away. Reading back the last weeks comments about expensive, quality wines was a wine a good wine loving buddy had on new years eve. Ronnie and I have enjoyed nearly two decades of all sorts, and he is quite discerning, but the red he described as one of the best he has ever had. Don't know whether it was the 12 or 13, but the majella cab sauv at about mid thirtees was the one....pretty damn affordable in anyone's language.this one I could even enjoy on a cold Melbourne night...how does late January sound. Ridiculous weather.

Just received a promo code from Wine Companion - $25 voucher off Vimomofo purchase - spose anybody can take advantage of it:

And I was scolling down Vinomofo site after accessing via this link - Buy Wine Online | Wine Deals - Vinomofo - kinda condfused why / how they are using Veuve Clicquot and Penfolds logo on this page - scroll down you will see them with others - what am I missing here?

Contraband Italian Blend is the Chalmers Montevecchio Rosso 2012. I'm going to give it a go as something a bit different. Thanks for the code Cruiser Elite!

The 2012 Coonawarra Cab Sauv for $31.50 is the Lindeman's St George. Matches plus I know TWE are flogging this cheaply elsewhere too.

Any thoughts re today's SECRET DEAL Mclaren Vale Shiraz 2012 $19.90 96pts??

You mean this one which is a VIM deal?

'Made by one of the country’s most exciting 5 star producers, this is a seriously classy red that perfectly illustrates why McLaren Vale is considered the home of some of the the best Shiraz in Australia. The kind of wine that you want to hold onto for that very special occasion, it's not often that you see a 96pt, trophy-winning Shiraz at half price everyday. Intense on the nose and rich on the palate with juicy mulberry, spiced plum, dark chocolate and beautifully integrated French oak, it's hard not to be captivated by this sumptuous beauty with its overwhelming power and depth of flavour. Laden with savoury, velvety tannins and ripe, dark characters that refuse to back down, this is mouth-filling and long - an exceptional Shiraz that will develop and age beautifully in the next decade. Considered 'Special Value' for its RRP of $40, you're definitely getting an amazing deal for under $20. '

RE: the VIM deal - They haven't given you much to go on, but I think it is probably the Haselgrove Catkin McLaren Vale Shiraz 2012. (No warranty or guarantee is offered by this post).

Rating, alcohol, price (revised RRP), ageing advice, and tasting notes seem to match up, and VM have had numerous Haselgrove wines before, so it feels likely...

This was one of my guesses as well. Although I'd hardly call them 'one of the country’s most exciting 5 star producers'
