Vinomofo Wine Deals

Thanks W&D. Looks to be in line with my tastes. I noticed it is actually $27.95 direct from Koonara site. A few positive reviews floating around. (Nicks also had it rated at 95)
Another review from GenXY Wines site:
Koonara Angel’s Peak Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Purchased: Not ($20)
Drink: 2020

(GXY) Tasting: June 2015, fairly plump and brightly lit cassis and dark plum with mint and violet notes, the medium bodied palate has some earthy tannins and juicy acidity, finishes with plenty of toasty mocha-cedar oak and open knit fine tannins (***1/2)

Yes looks like it... Anyone tried the Reynella Basket Press?
I picked up the 2008 from Vinomofo many years ago and it was one of my favourite purchases, $27 a bottle in 2012 i paid. Have also had the 2015 from Cellar One as they were selling it for $30 a while back and I was equally impressed, however only drank one at the time to try so haven't been back to them. I rate it and don't think you can go wrong. As a side note however the 2016 can be had for a bit over $40 on Cellar One so as always take the RRP listed of $70 with a grain of salt.

Haha ... thanks for that. RRP is always over inflated to give you a perception you're getting a bargain.

Seems my order is MIA at Aus Post somewhere... VM cant resend as it sold out quite quickly..

You should get a refund at least. Get VM to chase it up should be covered by insurance. Cheers

Yeah, I dont think there will be a problem with that. (not like mybottleshop that took 8 weeks for refund via chargeback recently) Mind you, I think Its more about the let down of not having the new case I'd envisioned.. every new wine I get, I tend to do background research, in anticipation. Oh well, need to let go ;)

True; nothing can change that feeling. Cheers

Chonka, are you in Melb by any chance? I've got some there to pick up, would be happy to share half of the case as I've ordered way too much lately...PM me if interested.

Dan’s have it for $16.8 in any 6.
Minus CR & WW GC and it’s pretty much the same.
Saying that I like it as an easy drinking quaffing Pinot
