Vinomofo Wine Deals

Thanks OW, I always appreciate it when someone on the forum gives their impression of a wine currently on offer, I've sent back the last two cases to VM (both Cab Savs) and thought I'd go back to my weapon of choice-Shiraz, but would like to reserch it before jumping the gun....

I punched in the details but got nada, I put this in: Shiraz 2018 – Black Market Deal #36884, maybe I should have just put 36884...

edit: just tried and now it works, will know next time....
Yes, sometimes/often less gives you more with Forum searches. But then sometimes VM change the deal number from pre-arrival to normal listing or when they change the price slightly.

Slightly disappointed I ordered this exact same wine last week from a JD cellars secret wine offer (#249).

Same price and vintage, and happy to support the smaller business.

Just would have liked the safety of the VM returns policy. Let’s hope it’s good!

I’d be keen to hear your thoughts on it. As mentioned previously, 2018 was a very good year...

Dear Wine buffs - please let me know if i should post this in another thread, but:

Who has good suggestions for reasonable Central Otago Pinot Noir, that doesn't cost the earth?

Prophet's Rock Rocky Point at about $35 is the best I can do recently, wondering if anything in the $25-35 bracket?

Thanks!

Pinot Noir 2015 – Black Market Deal #36095 this is a Marlborough Pinot (long way from Dunedin I know) but a belter. It’s the single vineyard Fuder Waihopai rrp $80+

Thanks guys, 6 pack ordered!
I just have received a refund for this deal. I suppose they had issues with the supply.

Instead of crediting my account - they issued me with Vinomofo credit that I am not over the moon about it.

Is it a normal practice? I think it is very cheeky on their behalf and I am considering what to do.

PS, just got a more personal email saying the courier damaged the package hence the refund. They offered to refund it to my credit card so all good I suppose. Except I will lose the referral bonus coupon I applied but such is life.

They usually offer refund to your payment source or a credit on your VM account for future use. I'm happy to have the credit to my VM account as it's instant and I'm always going to use it sooner or later. And you get to keep CC points, not sure what happens with Cash Rewards etc.

Have a live chat with them, they will sort it out pretty quick.
I must admit I was in haste making this comment. Furthermore I did get a call and was offered every option. All I suggested was I would be happy to purchase the surviving bottles and they took a note of it.

So overall great service from VM. as @redbigot suggested I will keep the credit in my account for future use to avoid complications.

I am torn between these two:

Anyone have experience with either?

Thanks!

Ironstone overpriced. Cheaper elsewhere including at grays.
