Vinomofo Wine Deals

This looks to be a good deal. But it doesn’t get much interests? Am I missing something here?
Number of factors.

1. High alcohol level 15.5%
2. Late picked Viognier that would make the wine more extracted/concentrated
3. New French oak.

So might not age too well.

I was quite tempted however didn't want to commit to a 6 pack - would have bought a bottle to try.

I purchased a bottle of thier Tin Lids Shiraz Cabernet to try the brand and see how I go.

I believe their Gregor Shiraz 2018 received quite high accolades from Robert Parker Wine Advocate.

EDIT

This is Gregor Shiraz from VM
98 points from Robert Parker Wine Advocate is not to sneeze at

Just had the Reschke Bos 07. Well down the tertiary path. Prune, leather with perfumed oak on a medium body, fine dusty tannin and a decent length. Really enjoyed the 06, hard to tell these apart, both fantastic wines cork willing and both from average vintages. I've also ordered some 09 from WC also rated an average vintage for Coonawarra FWIW.

Had anybody worked this one out? They’ve previously had bellvale and Mount McCleod wines, don’t seem to match form either of the those wineries though.

Damn.... I waited for abit and it’s sold out.....

Which one sold out?

this one. I have had the Gregor and am impressed. Was just on the fence on picking this up due to the various deals going on other wine sites.

It is still available here
You can use my voucher A5V2J to take $25 off. If you end up getting it - be good to hear how Gregor Shiraz compared to it. 2018 was meant to be a great year for Barossa

I'd always be keen for something like this, but 2 bottles. I know their return policy is good, but I don't open most wines for a long time.

Looks good tho 👍

Sounds ok but budget is rumning tight. Your thoughts on the shiraz/maverick?

Hi, got the same email and leaving it alone. Please see my TNs on admittedly different Maverick but in the same RRP price bucket here

If it was $30-$35 and a bit of a wine drought then maybe. I think for $50 you should demand an absolutely spectacular wine in this current stress environment.

If $50 is burning your pocket, I would rather jump on McGuigan Philosophy here on VM (I split it with a friend and hopefully will taste it soon)

Can’t remember if or when I had their Shiraz / CS.
I did get their AC Grenache and Trial Hill, both were decent at their heavily discounted price. Honestly the market is currently flooded with discounted Shiraz / CS so I have no incentive to boom on this one.
