Vinomofo Wine Deals

Twist my rubber arm - Ended up going for the CDP and I’m also the owner of a new account 😂
Excited to try and looking forward to the next few years of enjoyment.

The thing that got me over the line and sealed the deal for me (except for the gentle encouragement from @redbigot ) was it being 2016 vintage - a year close to my heart!!
I tried another CDP earlier this year and it was so much better than any AU GSM I have tried previously. I think it would be a great wine to try something different and you wouldn’t regret it.

Secret Cellar Door opened for "early access" for some people (VIM) last night. Certainly some interesting imported wines there not listed elsewhere on Vinomofo, plus some that are and are better priced on eBay currently. I assume someone will post a link, but I won't yet as I'm waiting for my Forum members to have a good run at it first.
This is the list of special offer imports:
Louis Jadot Pouilly-Fuissé 2018
Chateau Mont Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2016
Nicolas Feuillatte Brut Rosé Champagne NV (sold out)
Pascal Jolivet Sancerre Clos du Roy 2018
Sandeman Fine Tawny Porto NV
William Fevre Premier Cru Vaillons Chablis 2017
Louis Jadot Bourgogne Côte d'Or 2017
Gaja Ca'Marcanda Promis Toscana 2017
Cune Gran Reserva Tempranillo 2013
I ended up with the Chateau Mont Redon Châteauneuf-du-Pape 2016
Good price with a code + CB it was under $50 P/b
Breaking my own Forum rule a little - I didn't originate this one there. But...
VINOHALLIDAY $35 off and free shipping, purchase of $299 or more.
thanks for sharing - just wondering whether it has actually been confirmed as Mont-Redon, since it seems somewhat strange for Vinomofo not to be quoting its higher 95pt ratings?

I believe the source for the list of wines I posted is reliable, although it didn't come directly to me, I do know quite well the person who received it and posted it on my forum.

If it's not Mont Redon Vinomofo will be getting back a lot of 6-packs with one empty bottle.

Heads up for those interested, Pirramimma Heritage Shiraz 2016 Limited Edition or the 2017 should be available this week at some stage through a broker. It will go on the website a few days later in told.

Just be aware 2017 was quite different in vintage conditions compared to 2016 in McLaren Vale. Despite Halliday rating 2017 a 9/10 and 2016 8/10 for reds in McLaren Vale, my more limited personal tasting experience would have them the other way around, many reds I've tried from 2017 have been a bit lean and hard-edged compared to the more evenly ripe and more generous 2016.

The embossment on the bottle would give it away!

Quick heads up - VM just indicated that stocks are low ... too late too late will be the cry when the man with the bargains has passed you buy!

Has been confirmed.
which man? thanks :)

wow, it was quick. All gone!
for those who missed out or want more Rhone, there are 3 left of this at $44.07/bt after $35 off:

Indeed. I had a look for the Shiraz 2018, didn't see it yet, maybe tomorrow...

Buys via the brokers save them paying cashback on online buys?

I grabbed the 2017 Cab. At $12.50 via eBay I thought it was worth a punt, will be interesting to see how it compares with the 2016 Shiraz, which I thought was a bit restrained.

I still have 9 bottles of the 2016, thanks for the heads-up.

Need some variety to my largely Shiraz dominated stock.
I know it’s personal opinion, but Pirramimma ACJ or Domain Paladin Matrix?

As indicated above, I tend to drink predominantly Shiraz, but need a little variety in my life.

With the vinomofo ebay 20% discount, porque no los dos? Both great buys at about 28 and 32 a bottle respectively

I've drunk one of the matrix and bought more but not tried acj yet

I found myself in the same situation and tried both - I posted my TNs before here

Bear in mind 2018 ACJ is a completely different to 2017 .. not just the vintage but the composition. ACJ 2017 had "48% Cabernet Sauvignon from our Basket Weave block, 21% Shiraz from the War Horse block, 11% Petit Verdot from the Siberia block, 8% Tannat from the Olive block, 6% Merlot from our Katunga vineyard and 6% Malbec" ACJ 2018 is mainly McLaren Cab Sav with some petite Verdot thrown in for a good measure.

I have yet to try 2018 ACJ but heard great reports already so hopefully in near future.
