Vinomofo Wine Deals

Deep purple-black in color, 2012 Origin Series Catkin Shiraz is scented of ripe blackcurrant, warm black plums and grilled red meat with suggestions of licorice and dark chocolate. Medium to full-bodied and still quite youthful/taut on the palate, it has a medium to firm level of chewy tannins and lively acid, finishing with good length. Drink it now to 2020+.

Both of the hewitsons sounded fantastic..great reviews and both had the I wish I was there moment....by the side of that pool with the the beautifully positioned barossan version shiraz....I am a man of juxtaposition and I reckon anyone who takes their wine outside to take a picture of it before noon is either a digital slr fan or an alcoholic or a serious fan of colour and contrast...

That's the view from my office ... from the inside. I'm just lucky :mrgreen::D

the question remains..should a Catkin at under fifteen a bot that JH rates at 95 beat the shiraz from south oz that was causing paroxysms of enthusiasm today and was rated as 94 ? very interesting i would think. too close to call..just buy a case of each !

95 should beat 94 every day but some suggest that some reviewers give an extra point (or two) for value for money.

Jasonking yes, the warrior label looks fantastic - it's supposed to be embossed , or etched..but the stuff inside is never going to cost more than 8 bucks to make. This wine is based on great pedigree and the great year should ensure a ripper. Notes will hit the forum very soon i am sure.

So is it worth joining the VM club? I'm only after the reds, which doesn't seem too bad a deal.
There is no club to join. Vinomofo offers great deals on all wines. If you like what they are selling buy some.

I think Abha was referring to club mof_?

http://club.vinomofo.com

Then perhaps Abha could have been clearer.

Why would you lock yourself into wines they choose for you, even if you can cancel at any time? The only reason would be that you think someone else knows your tastes more than you do.

It would be naive to think that they aren't charging you a premium for dividing up the cases and repackaging them. It would also be naive to think that their 'best' wines made it into these club cases. Would anyone really think that the club cases contain anything other than what they couldn't sell in other deals?

If I am not mistaken it's "digital slr" as in digital single lens reflex as in camera buff. :)

Cheers - didn't know the iPhone came with this in-built feature :D Anyway, when I crack one of those bottled beauties - I'll make sure I go outside and capture the light for the perfect photo
