Vinomofo Wine Deals

It was available, but I had a phone call and sold out by the time I got off.

I'm not too fussed, it saves me money on expensive wine and I'm trying to cut down.

I was going to call my broker, but with shipping at $120 it's still a great price but I'm confident through Boozebud it's been close to that with discounts.

Maybe a sign that Penfolds need to offload some more. Waiting for the Bin28.

I feel like this is the time you should receive a call from a broker with first dibs if you're a customer who spends 1-2k+ a year at VM.

If it wasn't for the forums, I would know never. I'm sure, I didn't get an email either.
I don’t think it’s out of loyalty, i think they are just trying to sell as quickly as they can

Dreaming. Vinomofo has no respect for customer loyalty. I worked that out several years ago.

I suspect they have very many customers spending 5-10k per year or more and they are the ones that got a call/email from their broker (as per their comms preference)

No. I repeat "Vinomofo has no respect for customer loyalty. I worked that out several years ago."

More penfolds coming up:

Hey Dr Ralph,

I hope you are having a lovely week!

It's all about Penfolds at Vinomofo this week! I'm incredibly excited to let you know about some superb reds we have available from this Australian icon, including a sensational selection of aged reds in a mixed case, as well as Bins 150 and 128 in straight cases (6 packs).

1. Penfolds Lineup 6pk (mixed case)
Penfolds Lineup 6pk
Each case contains:
1 x Penfolds Bin 8 Shiraz Cabernet 2017
1 x Penfolds Bin 8 Shiraz Cabernet 2016
1 x Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz 2013 (95 points - James Halliday)
1 x Penfolds Bin 389 Cabernet Shiraz 2015 (97 points - James Halliday)
1 x Penfolds Bin 150 Shiraz 2016 (94 Points - James Halliday)
1 x Bin 28 Shiraz 2013 (94 Points - James Halliday)

Only $66.50 /btl ($399 total)

2. Penfolds Bin 150 Shiraz 2016 -
Barossa Valley, SA
Penfolds Bin 150 Shiraz 2016
94 points - James Halliday, Wine Companion
"Matured for 12 months in American (25% new) and French (7% new) hogsheads and puncheons. Inky purple-crimson hue; lives up to the expectations year in, year out. American oak suits the style down to the ground viewed against the broad church of Penfolds red wines. The tannins are soft and integrated, allowing the palate to break free for an instant or two."

Cellaring: 2036

Down from $100 /btl RRP to $79.90 /btl in 6 packs

3. Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz 2013 - Coonawarra, SA
Penfolds Bin 128 Shiraz 2013
95 points - James Halliday, Wine Companion
"Deep, dense wine, matured in 100% French oak. This is one of the richest, most dense Bin 128s I can recollect, its long-term future assured - just remember the Woodley Treasure Chest series or Wynns Shiraz from the '50s and '60s. Velvety black fruits are magically captured in a rich, round mouth filling burst of flavour."

Cellaring: 2038

Available for $59.90 /btl in 6 packs

As you can imagine, these are certain to sell out very soon. If you're keen, be sure to let me know how many cases you'd like as early as possible to ensure you don't miss out!
As always, you can reach me by simply replying to this email, or if you have any questions feel free to reach me via my direct number.

All way above what I would pay/have paid for these wines [I've been supplying the same vintage of BIN 128 for under $25 a bottle to a local restaurant! I have the opposite of this 'Oenophobia' and need help!]

I put it to you that Vinomofo would be glad to lose some of us on this board (constantly applying various codes and cashbacks trying to squeeze the living daylights out of them, cancelling and returning orders, whinging etc etc) as customers.

I don't know. But bigger revenue numbers can be good and I'm sure they make money from all of us. They seem to be a big company these days and I doubt it would be that difficult to see a total revenue and a profit margin for each of our accounts. They wouldn't have to be rocket scientists to also cross refer the names and addresses from their ebay shop sales either
