Vinomofo Wine Deals

Haven't bought anything from VM for ages but took this. Got an email via Halliday for Penfolds Bin 311 @ $29.90. Shopback has 6% for existing and 10% for new customers. Brings it down to a bit over $28. Not a bad price if you like 311 (which my wife does).

Pendilds getting desperate? Not even Black Market…

Thanks for sharing this. Managed to grab a case before it sold out

agreed, for those who put in the effort. But they don’t come up in a google search
I think it was targeted. Wasn’t meant for the wider consumption. Didn’t come up when I directly searched for “Penfolds” on VM too.

Thanks to @Tanark2 for sharing - grabbed a sixer too

Is it just me or does VM seem to have high proportion of imported wines atm?
You can make up RRP's when you're the sole importer.
Yes, Their global reach has meant they've been able to send VM Australia a number of palates of unwanted European export wines. It's making their selection much more interesting
and they've actually had some decent imports recently in amongst the usual selection of garbage.

Tempting to take a few more punts on some of it given the fantastic returns policy.

Important to stay grounded though and not be seduced by the bright lights and high scores from dubious critics.

Yep, agreed, the secret cellar door especially, but there have been a fair few recently. The Alsace rieslings were stunning, some decent Spanish offerings and of course some of the champers has been awesome.

Looks like Hasselgrove The Lear Shiraz is back via this broker offer just received:

Hi there,

Luke here, your wine dealer at Vinomofo. I hope you're well.

Some wines make a big splash when they hit the Vinomofo site. This is no exception. I've answered a few calls on who this producer is, and it's the return of a McLaren Vale favourite.

If you know your Shakesphere, and like your big reds, then this "King" is for you.

"It’s rich, full-bodied and brimming with luxurious McLaren Vale fruity-chocolatey notes. There’s some of the very best grapes in the region here, held together by a generous touch of French oak. Drink now or cellar to 2034. From experience, though, you’ll crack this out well before then." - John Clark, Vinomofo Head Wine Buyer.

Alcohol: 14.5 %
Cellaring: now - 2034

Cellardoor price is $90 per bottle. Vinomofo is $27.50 per bottle in six-packs.
(Normal Vinomofo price is $29.90)
