Vinomofo Wine Deals

I got my Wills Domain Paladin Hill Matrix yesterday. It says on the (individually numbered) bottles to drink from 2026 onwards. Not sure I can wait that long to try one.

When ordering 6-pack I normally* open a bottle strait away regardless of cellaring requirements to:

1. Make sure the wine is in good condition, particularly when under cork as it will be too late to return after a while.
2. See how it tastes young and follow the progress as it ages.

*An exception to the rule will be if wines are very expensive and come from trusted source, VM is not one of them ;)

Oh, I have already scoffed one…. :)
My thoughts??… very nice plonk but hard (very!!) to see the rrp
Ready to drink ... will quaff the rest of mine from the rack
IMO, blends are a challenge in terms of identity or making a statement..others mmv

Which wine are you referring to?

Well if you do cave in to temptation let us know your thoughts.

A first and positive report on the Ch Mont Redon 2016 from Vinomofo has been posted at my place, by an experienced and prolific poster, but not one of those who have tried the local import version.

I opened one up last night and finished it this evening. I can see how it might develop, but seems way underdone at the moment. To drink right now, I much prefer the Serafino 2013 Reserve Tempranillo that I got for just over $5/bottle last month :-)

Pirramimma heritage cab shiraz is now available at VM for $15/bottle

A few here were fans of the Shiraz

10% cashback at Cashrewards
There is also new batch of Heritage Shiraz 2017 vintage on VM now at the same price.

Keen to give the cab Shiraz a try, the 2016 heritage Shiraz was a tad light to my taste so I'm not sure if cab Shiraz would be better suited to my palate. Will prob head to Share a Case as they come in 12 btls case

Apparently they have a USA-destined back label (and front label on a closer look at your pic), so probably a direct import (prob from Europe) by VM.
And VM have used Aus Post for at least a year. :)
Yep, drying out is much more of an issue, and I take a bit of mold as a sign the bottle has been stored in a place that will more likely keep the cork plump than shrink it. Have had many nice bottles with a bit of mold at top of cork.
