“an unsubtle big sweet cherry bomb”

Whilst I try to remain open minded this description doesn’t fill me with complete confidence.
I opened one of mine tonight. Definitely tannic, a bit of fruit, but not a fan at the moment. Haven’t sent any back for a long time but these may be it.

How does it compare against other Pirramimma wines
My favourite remains the ACJ. But at less than half the price, this is great value for money. Surprisingly lives up to its description, although not the best Pirramimma I have ever tasted, I’m tempted to buy another case at this price.

I really don't need more wine! I have $60 credit and a $35 code available tho!

I might wait for more feedback, or bonus CB 🤣

Enjoying this very much right now. Certainly don't think it's one for the Coonawarra c/s purists. It's an unsubtle big sweet cherry bomb with some nice tannin. Impressive how much sweet fruit is left there given the age. Very good value for me given I had $60 in credit plus 10% CB. I think that made it close to $12 a bottle delivered.
Opened one the other night to have with a pizza. It is fruit driven with markedly herb/spice flavours and the tannin is mild. it is pleasant to drink with food whilst not overpowered. will save the rest for cooler months to pair with some asian/middle eastern food during a night in.

Yeah, that fits with my experience - fruity with a bit of grip and some other nice things going on. But not trad. Was surprised by Kev saying it was tannin first up. Every mouth's different hey and tasting can suffer situational bias - I'd had a long rubbish day at work, poured immediately on arriving home and it tasted amazing!

Under Diam so should be reliable. Mine settled down after about 2 hours, I aerated as well. I have already unpacked them into the cellar and can't be bothered boxing up to send back...

Bought a cheapie today, 2021 Reschke Limestone Coast Riesling. I know it is not a Clare or Eden Valley wine but at $9.90 worth a crack.
It is a dealer only wine deal so you will not find it on-site. When you call it is #40371.

Love it! Drink less but drink better!!!
In the mid 80's I recall Len Evans said something along the lines of only cellar good quality wines and only as many as you can drink in your remaining lifetime.

All sounds so easy until another deal comes out and then boom….🤦‍♂️
And then the cycle begins again.
Wish I had your discipline @misohoney
I guess it’s a journey 😊
