Vinomofo Wine Deals

I don't think so. Good opportunity to try some wines you would not normally buy, even the VM brokers buy the Salvation cases. There is the opportunity, the carrot, you might get something of genuine value, though I never have.
That said, I was not particularly inspired this time.

Just had a chat to my wine broker who tells me most of these wines are actually quite reasonable. More than a couple of $50 bottles in there.

Pinot Noir 2020 – Black Market Deal #41083
I've searched for this a couple of times but had no luck, anyone else got any ideas? If there's a voucher I might buy a case to find out.

My wine broker tells me this is;
Helen & Joey Estate Gruyere Hill Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2020 - Very good at $14

This one, Blanc de Blancs 2010 – Black Market Deal #41115 is Mandala Gathering Blanc de Blanc 2010. In his words, fantastic. If it was within my budget I'd buy some.

Put my hand up today for this, Semillon 2020 – Black Market Deal #41054, Brokenwood Semillon from Hunter Valley, the only region for Semillon imo. Qantas had this at $26 and at 15 bucks it is a significant discount to the $40RRP. I'll cellar for a few years.

Never seen the second one before.

Never seen the second one before.
This is the blah blah from VM:

Our beloved ex-dealer/current wine buyer Tully told us this is "the best Pirramimma wine I have ever tasted"! Huge words from one of the most esteemed palates in the company. Created in celebration of McLaren Vale great, Geoff Johnston, the grapes for this beauty come from the Shiraz block Geoff planted with his father Digby in 1971. Upfront dark plums, blackberries and mocha sits neatly on the palate, before reaching peaks of vanilla and spice (and all things nice). Just like the person it celebrates, this wine is all about character, and will age beautifully over the next 15 years!
