Bethany Wines First Village Grenache
Thanks! I see you are correct! Bethany a bit more interesting... I visited their cellar door last year and probably tried this... in fact, now that I check, I have an unopened bottle of the 2018 First Village Grenache ;) so thats a good sign!

It doesn't work for pre-arrival offers, does for most others. Price reductions and VIM offers don't always show either... Have to go back to basics again for those.
Unwraps is a good one too. Bought some Forest Hill Block 5 CS 2014 when it was on DM clearance and a decent wine too.

First post on AFF, after being recommended here from OCAU, due to looking for a new wine subscription service (that wasn't just a company buying bulk lots of wine I'd never heard of and packaging it up).

Having said that, I jumped in with a salvation case, using the welcome offer on VM, as I'm a fan of the old lucky dip. 🤣

It'll be great to make future purchases based on more experienced heads here going forward.

Welcome to AFF AnzacPaul. The Salvation case is a great test-taster imo and good value. Let me know if you'd like a broker at VM.

Thanks, I appreciate the offer, but I'll pass for now as I'm a small volume buyer, I've cut my drinking down to weekends only, so I'll be the type to pickup a mixed case once every few months (or if a cracking deal comes up).

Welcome @AnzacPaul, many who join this thread start out as small volume buyers but it wont last for long!!

This is the 2011 Craggy Range Sophia. Tannins a bit grippy but currently $120 in Dan Murphy's cellar release so certainly good value.

It's very good. I had one faulty bottle and there is bottle variation as a result of it being under cork. The corks are poor quality which seems odd given that this is their flagship Bordeaux blend. The other four ive opened so far were marginally different from one another but all in decent condition.

I just boomed on this

Its a great Chianti Classico. For those new to Italian Sangiovese this is a great intro. The wine is 100% Sangiovese and punches well above its weight in terms of QPR.

Yeah,
It sells for £18 or $33usd a bottle elsewhere.

Just boomed on this one

Really enjoyed the previous vintage. No ratings I could find on the 2020, but at $15/bottle (after a referral credit and free postage) it was an easy decision.

Almost bought the TarraWarra Estate Pinot Noir 2019, but it's cheaper at Dans (pre discount).
Went with the Gapsted Limited Release Pinot Noir 2020, because everyday wine is not a serving suggestion, it's a challenge.

A2215 $15 off code above still worked and is easier than Cash Rewards, code not listed on their site so doubt it would stack.

Good suggestion and thanks for the code reminder.
