Cracked one of these tonight. Very impressed for a $10 wine.

Tannic on opening, but plenty of perfume.

Was gonna split a case of 12 but tempted to keep the lot for myself now.

2014 Reschke RSR - this was fantastic. Bold yet smooth. Thanks for the recommendations. I'm going to have to give the Bull Trader a go at some point.
 
Really peeved by VM. They've lost my 2nd order in this many months. First one was "lost" on delivery day and never made it to the door, the 2nd now is broken in transit to WA. Looks like they've got a new carrier HDS which is trying to beat Aramex in terms of unreliability.

FWIW - here in NSW they seem to use Au Post. Only had one mishap with VM earlier in the piece (they said a damaged parcel that was diverted and returned) and they duly refunded and provided $20 "We are sorry" gift/credit that I was more than happy with.

To be fair I had a similar refund by them, but unfortunately by the time the wine comes to WA and they declared it as "lost" (3 weeks+), the black market offer was gone. Will see what happens this time.
TBH I'd rather have the wine than the extra $20 credit, but YMMV.

This does happen from time to time with them. Definitely inconvenient, especially if they've sold out of that same item. But in my experience they do make an effort to put it right.

They do and things do happen. It happening twice in 2 months (4 cases ordered in that period, 1 one made it, one is still on the way) is just really extremely irritating.
 
Gents, I'm ready to order more wine. Have limited the choice to Reschke Bull Trader or Cabonolas Smith Cabernets 🤔. Leaning toward the Cabernets for something different

Bull trader is the best of the reschkes in my opinion, can't comment on the cabonolas

The Bull Trader is a perfect BBQ/pizza wine but personally the Canobolas is seriously good buying - especially if you use the discount code mentioned
