Vinomofo Wine Deals

I find it to be good value at $27 let alone $22.50. I agree it is not a fantastic saving but still decent enough for me to warrant a purchase. I paid more for it when it was first released and was happy, now at $5 a bottle cheaper, I am even happier ;)

If you'd rather pay $27 or $22.50 per bottle rather than $21.25 a bottle, then go for it.

They've been featuring a lot of wynns recently. Wonder if the John Riddoch CB or Michael shiraz will be offered soon.

Its possible. They haven't been offered before from memory. And they are much higher end wines. Although things like wolf blass black label have been offered before, but at not a huge discount - I did purchase some and then was offered the same wine from cracka for around $20 a bottle less a few months later. So be warned.

Anyone got free shipping code for Vinomofo? The HUSHHUSH code on Ozbargain doesn't seem to be working. Thanks

Think the location of the source might be the problem there

To answer your question : No I don't but hush hush was working fine before widespread publication.

I'm all for getting a good deal and can be quite obsessed myself but my time is worth something too. If I actually wanted the wine I'm not sure the time invested in saving $7 for a Six pack is really worth it.

I do notice the big names offered on vinomofo does not come with decent discounts. Obviously am only keen if a decent amount of discount is offered. There are better discounts to be found elsewhere on the web.

Aside from some exceptions (e.g. Seppelts) I'm of the view many of the "big names" are overpriced in the first place, I'm by no means suggesting they are not good wines but they sell as much on the label as what's in the bottle. For me it's only what's in the bottle that counts.

Wasn't that code only valid for 24 hours only? Should have expired by now.

Why would big names need to discount much? Most is already priced at what the market will bear, in most cases. Penfolds or Henschke or Clarendon Hills or whatever don't need to knock 50% off to move their stock - mostly.

They don't need to. But vinomofo has the buying power to get these wines with a decent level of discount and offer part of that discount to us. This is exactly their business model and is how they are able to steal market share from the big players. At the end of the day who doesn't want to pay less?

Well I'm sure you and I want to pay less. Doesn't mean that the vendor thinks this is a good idea. Compared to Woolworths/Coles how do you believe VM has the necessary clout to force change in that top level echelon of the market?
