Hello fellow wine enthusiasts.. Any ideas on today's deal - Secret deal GSM 2014 - $32 > $11.50. Suggets it's a re-run, so I'm sure someone is onto it..

Cheers Anon :). Looks reasonable, though I'm not sure how much of a bargain it is having bought the MV series previously from Dans.

Whilst it got a 95 at the RQWS, it got an 89 at the RMWS:
Bronze89.0Rosemount Little Berry MV GSM, 2014 Grenache/Shiraz/Mataro

2013 MV collection is available for $10/bottle at DM

I recently bought the Tahbilk Cab Sauv vertical from VM.

I got sent a 2009 Shiraz rather than a 2009 Cab Sauv so I called and they credited me the bottle price. They did this even though I paid for half the case using credits I'd accrued for recruiting folk. I thought this was v-good customer service, especially considering it would have been Tahbilks cough up.

As for the vertical, so far the '97 was a very interesting wine although I feel was in decline a bit. the '07 was a bit average but the '08 was excellent. It is nice to drink these light bodied Cabernets and compare them against each other and so far I would recommend this vertical as a decent deal.

I am pretty sure the "little berry" moniker denotes a different wine from the standard MV. The labelling and RRP are different at least, IIRC. .

Has anyone bought the Bayliss Rd Black Label Shiraz 2015 - mine arrived today and the first bottle suggests send it back quick - Hoping it was a bad bottle but worried the 2nd won't be any better - interested in other's view on it

I'm currently drinking the 2015 black label GSM from the 'Fo, think it was a black market, went halves with someone, and I'll tell you what, it's very ordinary. If I had bought a full case it would all be sent back.

It would probably help if you stated what it actually ended up being...

I thought I did...I quoted someone talking about the Bayliss road black label Shiraz and I said I had the black label GSM...
Apologies if I wasn't clear. It's the Bayliss road black label GSM 2015 and was a Vinomofo black market deal a couple of weeks back for $8.90 and it is very ordinary

My apologies too - I didn't realise you were referring to the Bayliss Road GSM specifically.

I guess this is the risk you take with these 2nd tier wineries and their wine that doesn't really have any reviews etc. Sometimes you hit an absolute bargain, and sometimes it's just a bit "meh"

I bought a case before its A2B Great Southern Cabernet and its a great wine. ( if only I could get a shiraz of theirs from the Fo)

FYI, @Rug, this one has just popped up on WineMarket (both the 2011 cabernet and 2011 shiraz) and at a cheaper price than the Fo had it too.
