Hi, just joined the forum after lurking for a few weeks. I've found the discussion very interesting and, as a longstanding VinoMofo customer, very useful. I'm interested to see there is a developing sense of, what's the right word, cynicism or scepticism, about VM as the business has got bigger. Certainly, I've been less impulsive on the Buy button in recent months and it's been a while since I've been able to buy outstanding wines such as the Xanadu cab sav at a bargain price.

Speaking of cab sav, WineStar today has one of its mystery specials - a Yarra Valley 2013 (95 points from Halliday).
Mystery Yarra Valley Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

The only review that fitted the description on Winefront was a 90-point Yering Station Cabernet Sauvignon 2013

In addition to red wine, I'm a keen riesling drinker. Does anyone who the identity of the Clare Valley Black Market Riesling 2015?

Many thanks

Welcome Mingus69.
I'm not certain but the Cabernet looks like it might be this. Sticks Yarra Valley Vineyard Select Sticks Estate A1 Block Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 | Australian Wine Companion

Too true (hate their threesomes of two pretty ordinary wines to get a knockdown on the one bottle you really want!) Be interested to hear what you think of the Little Berries and the Ulithorne (I could tell you what I think of them but curious to get another point of view)...

AFF has an ability to 'multi-quote'. That is, you can select a number of posts to quote in the one reply.

At the bottom-right of each post is a symbol with a quotation mark and + sign:

Click on that and a tick will appear:

When you have selected all the posts you wish to include in your reply, then click 'Reply With Quote' and all the posts selected will appear in the one message - ready for your input.

Using the multi-quote facility aids readability, and avoids any concern that a member may be 'post padding' to increase their post count.

I did a search but it seems nothing came up...

I am in serious need of a top up in the quaffers, and something in the sub $10 mark. I grabbed a Glenlofty the other day, but thought this might fit that bill too. Do we know what it is?

I am in the same boat. "North eastern corner of the Clare township". Bit misleading because Clare township is at the top of the Clare Valley and there aint much to the north east of it. They've had Atlas before and I thought that was what the 2014 Clare Shiraz at $9 was also. Winemaker works (used to?) for Reilly's off to the east of the valley at Mintaro. Not sure where Erin Eyes sits on the map.

Both Atlas and Erin Eyes are Halliday 5 Star wineries, so I don't think it's either of those two.

I'm trying to run through who it could be, and without the advertisement of any rating for the winery I guess discounts most of the big players like Taylors, Knappstein, Kilikanoon...might need a phone call tomorrow prior to purchasing.

Could be Neagles Rock; Kirrihill or Penna Lane all have been on the Fo before. Cheers
