Vinomofo Wine Deals

Sorry for the delay Steady and Whining&dining; post is up on Vinomofo's FB per Mattywhite re Mitolo. Cheers Rug

Just had a quick look Rug (or should I call you Matty ;)) at the Vinomofo FB page and couldn't see anything from you, do you think that they removed it??

Has this been confirmed/cross-checked/interrogated?? ($11.50 sounds like a gift surely )

There's not a whole lot else that it could be. Maybe a Fox Creek Short Row? Mitlolo Angela? Although both previous vintages of those wines enjoyed a barrelling length that would preclude the 2015 from being available yet. I've boomed, so will find out in a few short days.

I've been accused of FOMO before so with only one hour to go it's now or never, if I didn't already have a case on the way of http://www.peosestate.com.au/cmsb/uploads/peos-four-kings-2014-shiraz.pdf from Winemarket I'd jump on this!!

Most likely was hidden, anything that isn't saying how amazing they are would be hidden

Hmmm that was my first thought too, I can understand that they don't want any bad press but the image they portray is that of the free-wheelin' hipster who doesn't give a flying coughk about opinions (but they are also a large retail entity for whom business is the bottom line...)

Wine-muller, any chance of confirming the identify via the nexday website using your surname and order number?

I guess it depends how far it descended.. maybe it arrived with a thud.. rhymes with ??

oh, interesting. It's a Pertaringa Regional Series.

Last vintage was a Shiraz/Mataro blend, wonder whether it's a straight Shiraz this year as it was advertised as 100% Shiraz.

The guys on the front (label) look like something from "Tom of Finland"
Whining&dining and Steady my post was hidden by Vinomofo. I will try again suppose I had better be less sarcastic. In the wine Fitzy mentions I think he is on the right track but it is Barossa shiraz 2015 reading the Royal Sydney Wine Show 2016 results ( 2015 shiraz). Cheers Rug.

I guess they can't/don't see the funny side of it...
Does not go well negative press for an organization that prides itself on wine loving free spirited people who love
to party and share. My good wife and eldest son watched me post it. We will see I will give time under same name as before when I post. Cheers Rug

Chuck it on Twitter, they have no censorship power over twitter

It is Allegiance Wines The Artisan Barossa Shiraz 2015. All the wording and so on is the same on the Cracka wines site Mystery 97 Point Barossa 2015 Shiraz. Cheers Rug

Gee that's a non-event. VM pricing is usually a bit sharper than other sites - see for example the Claymore Bittersweet Symphony (but that's as it should be, since VM don't seem to offer anything other than referral bonuses and the occasional targeted voucher these days). You could get a dozen of the Artisan delivered from Cracka for under $17 each with their current $50-off-orders-over-$149 coupon. I guess this one has done well with scores around the traps and ought to sell itself at $20 without further discounting. Plenty of 95-point wines around that price point though. I'd want to have tried it or at least seen a few good mentions around here for it before committing. Didn't find anything on it in the "nice wines..." thread.

Rhodges this wine was also being sold by Mywineguy mid year I think same price etc. I admit to taking a punt but with a 20 year cellar option I thought I would let them sleep for some years. The Sydney wine show gold medal was Class 32 Best examples of Shiraz showing perfume and fruit 2015. The only thing I can add is if you speak to the wineries the 2015 and 2016 in S.A are the best vintages since 2005 and 2006. Your comments however are spot on. Its like Dirty Harry do you feel lucky? Cheers Rug

Regarding the 2015 artisans shiraz. I got some a while back. although i cant remember exactly what it was like now. I can say i dont think it was worth the 60 bucks retail. There was definetly some good balance. But it wasnt a big barossa shiraz by any means. Readings Rugs comment about class 32 the wine definitley was quite aromatic and berried. im into more dark, broody, stone fruit type. sorry my descriptions are cough. hope it helps.
Ill keep the rest of mine for a few years tho... too young.
