Thought maybe Chapel Hill, The Vicar.. but they are Red Star not Black Star rated. Perhaps Ulithorne Unicus.

Haven't previously tried their wines. Any reviews on this (or other) wines of theirs?

It must be this if we're talking scant information Shop The Collections I haven't had much experience of the Kilikanoon wines so will be interested to hear any comments once you've tried it.

That's the one! Sorry, meant to post link, but was in a hurry and app was not playing nicely, as usual (deleted my post twice, before it actually posted the third time).

Appears to match up.. 75 clams on their site currently...cult like Depeche Mode I think:confused:

The 2014 Unicus had some mixed reviews, I didn't like it and sent mine back. Vintage 2015 down that way was probably a bit better than 2014 though.

Has anyone tasted this new offering of the 2016 CS Blend OR the 2016 Twins Shiraz ?

And here are my tasting notes for the 2016 Twins Cabernet Blend:

Like the 2016 shiraz this is also a wine of great power and intensity, the blackcurrant and blackberry fruit barely approachable, needing a good 4 hour decant to come together. Again there is a touch of sweetness on the attack, but the wine is otherwise very dark and savoury. The mid-palate delivering baking soda, pencil lead and sour-raspberry liquorice. It’s an intriguing flavour profile, but really needs time to integrate. The tannins are fine and lightly drying, leading to a long finish.

Its another of those wines that might be stunning in a few years time, but is really struggling for balance at this early stage. A 90 on CT from me.

No worries I sometimes have similar problems with getting stuff posted, especially annoying when you've written quite a loving review and it hasn't auto-saved :-|

if you punch 'Ulithorne' into the search function at the top of the page you'll come up with quite a few hits, I've only had the GSM and was seriously underwhelmed by it....

Hi all. Been off the wine train for a while, and it's now time to get back on.
Any thoughts on today's VIM BM 2015 Shiraz?
