If this is the case (pun intended) what does the $50 mean on opening page (that is $45 when you look deeper) mean in the VM advertising. It is slyly implying the customer is getting a $50 wine for $15, and who doesn't love a bargain, but in reality how can they say it is worth $50 when it is only being sold to VM customers ????

It is listed for sale on the Penley site, but at $45, no tasting notes or other details, not even grape variety shown. The Rosebury Shiraz 2014, a regular line was sold as $45->$15 a while back.
 
VM has changed the price to $45 now, I'd be inclined to agree that it is the Black Bull and they made a mistake with the RRP.

Just noticed the change in RRP also. Who makes Black Bull? Any good?

edit: Found Black Bull. Their vintage years are 2011 & 2012.
The VM deal is 2014.

Hahah, I'm assuming you originally wrote that VM works on BS. It's been very lean pickings IMO for a while now.

You are correct I was being cautious with the moderators. What with all the made for FO and imported by FO there are very few GEMS hidden in the BS. Read the spiel that goes with these products and you could think wow this sounds good when in reality its high grade BS to sell standard cough. Where is the good genuine products? Cheers

Just opened a bottle, left it breathing for about an hour and it's bouquet galore. Quite a good quaffed considering the price paid and I've had worse for twice its price. Dunno if it's just me but it doesn't seem to have a long finish at all.

It's really just commercial white wine.. you could be drinking nz sav blanc…
Grumbled with myself about sending it back but my rules are that unless there is actually something wrong with it.. I live with my buying decisions

But what if the blurb completely misrepresents the product? I have a rose that will go back since it's nothing like touted. And I ordered the Riesling myself, your description does concern me. Who can't make at least good Riesling from Clare grapes?
