I have tried their CS. I didn’t like it much but can see why somebody else might like it. For me it was a bit on a thin side and lacked the qualities that I look for in CS. I didn’t send it back but relegated it to my Pizza go to wine.I recall a few of you on this forum purchased the Taltarni recently. Has anyone had a chance to try and any thoughts ?
I’ll second that. Nothing wrong with it at all, but didn’t knock my socks off. It was $10 a bottle though and the shiraz is $20.I have tried their CS. Here's a link to a review of the wine from Andrew Graham (Oz Wine Review). It'd be fair to say Andrew is a bit of a 'point miser', and a 'hard marker' generally speaking, so take from that what you will. I ordered 6. Looks like a decent wine for circa $20. Was going through my purchase history and realised that my order from March is still pre-arrival! Aust post tracking is showing as not scanned yet so have queried VM as to what is going on. Clearly I buy too much wine to have not realised, I think the delivery delays around that time let it slip from my mind.PRE-ARRIVAL: Cabernet Sauvignon 2013 – Black Market Deal #41239
any ideas ? thanks

Tracking system leaves a lot to be desired?got the proof of delivery photo sent through today...I'm now very sad and no longer trust my neighbours...
Many years ago I had several boxes from Cellarmasters left on my front porch while I was away for a couple of days. The boxes were still there when I got back, but they were empty. I suspect the local teens had a big party. In more recent years I have two recording security cameras that catch deliveries and let me know when the Fastaway/Aramex guy has done a dump and run without ringing the bell. I use an Arlo wireless system with solar panels so I don't have to get up and change/recharge batteries.got the proof of delivery photo sent through today...I'm now very sad and no longer trust my neighbours...
Did they say who, if anyone, signed for the parcel?got the proof of delivery photo sent through today...I'm now very sad and no longer trust my neighbours...
Since Covid arrived signatures mostly don't happen, they take photos instead. If they ring the doorbell they are usually gone before I can get to the door.Did they say who, if anyone, signed for the parcel?

Was this one with AusPost? I have a bit to do with them.Since Covid arrived signatures mostly don't happen, they take photos instead. If they ring the doorbell they are usually gone before I can get to the door.
But pre-Covid I did catch a Fastway person on camera coming back after dropping off the parcel to check the name he was forging.
I am a big fan of the Andrew Graham 'speak' and his honesty too. He is a tough marker but way better than James Halliday in my opinion with Sam Kim a distant four hundred and thirteenth. I used Winestate for my initial wine learning so if they gave it the shiraz of the year in the forty bucker and over class, I am peeved that I missed it. However my wifes $88 six pack of Rosenvale Vine Vale Rd 2020 dropped yesterday so I have another reason to smile I guess. I look forward to the Taltalni reviews but it sounds like it needs an eight hour decant, a bit of stirring too before the taste. Add in a medium t-bone and I am sure reviews here will be highly glowing. They damn well have to be. Tomorrow night with the usual suspects I am going to crack a Gibson Smithy, a first time for me looking forward to pedigree as I gave the 2015 Reserve Gibson Shiraz my wine of the year in 2019. Second was the Warrabilla Parolo Shiraz 2013 and third the Helen and Joey Layla Pinot 2013. I did buy some Inara from Dannys at $20 recently but havent tried yet. Here's a link to a review of the wine from Andrew Graham (Oz Wine Review). The Aus Post courier knows I'm mostly home, so drops off the boxes and rings the doorbell, sometimes I get there in time to say Hi or wave. For small parcels requiring signature the regular postie will ring the bell and give me the spiel about him signing for me and then scribbles on his device. Aramex are usually drop and run, my camera notifies me. Actually just had a Sendle guy wait till I got to the door and asked to confirm my name. Was this one with AusPost? Because it’s alcohol they can’t just leave the parcel. They have to see the person and if they look under 25 ask for id. If no one is home it goes to the post office. Otherwise it would be pretty easy for underagers to be getting there hands on grog. The Aus Post courier knows I'm mostly home, so drops off the boxes and rings the doorbell, sometimes I get there in time to say Hi or wave. Really? I've had plenty of cases of wine left at the door and I'm 16. I'd be surprised if at least one delivery wasn't through aus post. Whoever sent you the proof of delivery I would be making them aware of this. A mention of them ending up on A Current Affair should have you reimbursed pretty quickly.
Yes, that's the law and all good in theory, but in practice doesn't happen any more. In fact for Fastway and some others it almost never used to happen even pre-Covid, Aus Post would take to a PO back then, not now. Maybe it's different if the Aus Post or other courier doesn't have long experience with the particular delivery location/person but I suspect not.Because it’s alcohol they can’t just leave the parcel.
