Vinomofo Wine Deals

I pay RRP often. Wendourie, Rockford, Sami-Odi, Standish, Wild Duck Creek estate, Thomas Allen, Petersons, Piggs Peake etc none have ridiculous RRPs like Mavericks although some could.
Fair enough re your enthusiasm for paying RRP when we're in a sea of excess, high quality wines. I would not put Wendouree (unless you mean Windowrie), but especially Rockford & Sami-Odi, at the modest end of RRP spectrum - so I'm not clear why Maverick draws your special ire. Surely Ron is entitled to decent recompense for all the dung filled cowhorns he must bury under the moonlight, only one among many labour intensive tasks of biodynamic farming. And it seems people are willing to pay. That aside, if there's a particular wine I want, can't find it discounted, yet think it worth the RRP, then that's what I do. If you mean Peterson's of the Hunter, then yes, ditto Scarborough for The Obsessive (white label) Chardonnay, to name a couple.

Barossa Shiraz from VM I've tried at $30 or under, descending price order:
Schild Estate Pramie Shiraz 2021 - but it's $20 as a mystery wine on Winestar.
Schild Estate Narrow Road Shiraz 2021 - kept that, but slightly preferred the Narrow Road Shiraz-Cabernet blend, sold out.
Schild Estate Edel Shiraz 2018 - better than the 2019.
Rosenvale The Seventh Shiraz 2021 - I don't like many of the Rosenvales, often a bit lean and hard, this one was a keeper.
Craneford No 1 Limited Edition Shiraz 2021 - tannins a bit big for the fruit, but should cellar well
Schwarz Wine Company Nitschke Block Single Vineyard Shiraz 2021 (56745) - sent it back
Craneford Basket Press Shiraz 2021 - Ok for the price.
Monterra Reserve Barossa Shiraz 2021 - not outstanding for the price, but kept it for quaffer packs for friends.
Lou Miranda Golden Lion Shiraz - consistent at $15
@redbigot I truly appreciate you putting this list together. Very generous with your time.

Thanks so much! Would you say the McV wines offer better value? Someone mentioned the Patritti

Sometimes...
I mostly don't consider older vintages like the Clarendon Hills and d'Arenberg, I have too much older stuff already
McLaren Vale reds $35 and under I'm familiar with, descending price order.
Pirramimma The Earl Shiraz 2021 - good wine, friends bought some after tasting, usually $35, can be had for$ 32.50 sometimes
I think 57840 is Curtis Pasha Shiraz 2021 - I'm not a big fan of Curtis, but have this on the way to try.
Mitolo G.A.M Shiraz 2021, bought and kept, genuine discount, decent wine
Haselgrove the Lear Shiraz 2021 - has some odd notes, some people don't mind, others dislike, wouldn't recommend.
Amicus Reserve Shiraz 2022 - I bought the 2021, found it a bit underwhelming, but kept it.
Patritti BSV Blewitt Springs Shiraz 2021 - decent wine for the price
Cape Barren Coach Block Shiraz 2019 - good, might buy some more.
Ulithorne Prospera Shiraz 2021 - good wine, bought heaps, but from Skye and Dozen Deals where is was $10pb at times.
Mr Riggs Idle Lane Shiraz 2022 - bought the 2021 and was unimpressed, unlikely 2022 would be better.
Patritti Amico Shiraz 2021 - another good deal for the price, softer and more approachable than the BSV
Pertaringa Belonging to the Hills Shiraz 2022 - bought heaps of the 2021, very good, haven't tried the 2022.
Ivyburn First Minister Shiraz 2022 - I bought heaps of the 2021 on Grays at $10 or under, haven't tried the 2022, Did buy the more expensive Aldersley 2021 and sent it back, very underwhelming.
Haselgrove Cul-Stor Shiraz-Cabernet has been good previously, haven't tried the 2021.

Thanks Red.
Have you tried the Sorby Adams Reverend Canon Shiraz 2020? Its a big discount on the fo site.
No I haven't, I'm focussed mainly on 2021 reds, a more reliable vintage than 2020 or 2022.
"Big Discounts" on VM and elsewhere can be illusory, I focus on the wine first and decide if the asking price is fair for the perceived quality. ie QPR
