One of my sons was accepted for the card but without the 110k points. They ruled him ineligible due to an existing Amex card.

My +1 signed up, got her card 2 days ago, spent $1045 yesterday, and the 110000 pts are in her Amex account today.....wonder if I can sneak the pts from her Velocity account across to mine without her noticing...I'm ineligible for this offer as I already have the Amex Plat reserve card

I got both my long retired parents to sign up as well, and to everyones' surprise, they were immediately approved as well....so recruit your parentsl! Unfortunately, they want the points themselves....For others info and benefit, I have a Plat reserve card (about to be cancelled), and after spending just $600, the 110k popped up in my acct....so don't all rush out to put $1k on the card ASAP ...above link is still active

That's a classic - I should try to enrol the dog and the kids and see what happens
Out of curiosity - did your long retired parents meet the $65k income requirement?
