Virgin Australia Business Class - Meals, Menus & Service

Not really. I was on a Virgin ticket - just happened to be operated by SQ.

I believe that there are many differences on Virgin Code-share flights that need to be resolved. One major one is Etihad vs VA to Dubai. Another is Delta vs VA to LA. I guess we can add SQ to the list now.

What differences do you think need to be resolved? DL, VA, EY and SQ are different airlines and provide differing levels of service.

SQ and VA don't compete on any routes (except possibly SYD-DPS?).

Currently sitting in the terminal at Geraldton - no lounge, no J, at least I've bagged the emergency row on the big Fokker GET-PER.

Never mind, PER-MEL Sunday night, J on the Airbus - report to follow (although recent reports in this forum are making me look forward to it!).

Well got my drink... Had to skull. Apart from that, service good. Had pasta with meat balls which was just terrible. Note to virgin, meatballs are not biz class acceptable. Oh, and have at least 2 whites and 2 reds.

Flew DJ342 BNE - MEL in business on monday of this week. service was excellent, the mocktail was delicious - could've been better with vodka though!

Had standard cheese platter and those luke mangan ice creams are to die for! The CSM seemed like she was new but she was very enthusiastic and kept referring to a book every time she'd make announcements over the PA. She came over about 3 times in total asking if I wanted another beer or tea/coffee and if everything was alright.

Is the later flight (DJ346) departing at 5:55pm a dinner service or afternoon snack flight? It is in the 'afternoon snack time' but 5 mins before dinner service starts and your scheduled arrival into MEL is 8:25pm.

Most DJ evening flights I have been on have been 1 white, 1 red.... (I think only once 2 whites).
On my last flight, following conversation between me and the pax next to me - which might suggest they aren't carrying more.

FA: Would you like some wine sir.
Pax: What is the white
FA: Its a Chardonnay (dont think it was actually named)
Pax: Do you have anything else
FA: No but I can go down the back and see what is on the cart, they might have something different
Pax: No No, thats ok, Ill have that.
