Just as a data point Adl to Syd 9am flight was cancelled Monday. VA paid for mum to go on QF

Very important that we get this sort of information, as it tells AFFers what they can expect (or negotiate for.) So an important 'data point.'

It shows the slackness of bookings at present when the competitor's flight has spare seats. One might expect a Monday departure ex ADL at 0900 to be busy, because it's the start of the traditional working week.

VA1251 (13 February, the scheduled 1845 hours early evening BNE up to ROK with F100 VH-XWM that didn't take off until 2020 hours) is arriving at an estimated 2125 hours mid evening, 85 late.

VH-BZG is on the BNE down to NTL VA1108 for which arrival at gate should be 36 late at 2206 hours.

On a stormy Melbourne afternoon, VA229 (B738 VH-VUP, the 1440 hours across to ADL that took off at 1536 should arrive at 1616 hours, 46 minutes past the timetable.

VA1594, the 1425 hours afternoon NTL - MEL was airborne at 1508. Arrival for VH-YFV looks to be 1637, 37 minutes late.

The 1400 hours MEL - SYD, VA849 (VH-VUA) was not in the sky until 1538 hours so at gate arrival should be about 1650, 85 minutes tardy.

With continuing unsettled Melbourne conditions, VA279 on 14 February (the scheduled 1650 hours MEL - CBR airborne at 1753 with B738 VH-YFV) is headed for a 50 minute tardy arrival at 1845 hours in the early evening.

Later, VA875 (1800 hours MEL - SYD in the sky at 1853, VH-YFN) shoudl arrive at 1902 tonight, 37 minutes behind schedule.

VA269 (Saturday 15 February, the 1215 hours lunchtime MEL - CBR that took off at 1301 hours with B738 VH-YFC) should arrive at its allocated agte at 1414, six minutes late.

VA811 (Monday 17 February, the 0700 hours MEL - SYD) did not take off until 0728 hours, about 17 late. A332 VH-XFJ did not arrive until 0856, 31 late.

ATR72 VH-FVQ on VA1174, the 0805 hours morning SYD - ABX had not become airborne by 0916 so is running at least an hour late.

Tuesday 18 February 2020 has seen VA552 (early morning 0530 hours PER across to SYD) not becoming airborne until 0645. B738 VH-VUW should arrive 51 minutes behind schedule at 1336 hours.

Later on 18 February, VA333 is the 1500 hours mid afternoon MEL - BNE in the sky at 1542 with B738 VH-VUR. At gate arrival should be at 1641, 31 minutes tardy.

With the thunderstorms in MEL at around 1840 hours, VA347 (1800 hours MEL up to BNE, B738 VH-YFC) was airborne at 1858 so suggested arrival becomes 2002 hours, 52 minutes tardy.

VA875 (1800 hours early evening MEL up to SYD) was in the sky about 1849, about 35 late. VH-YFY is however not arriving until 2045, 85 lat, as with storms around the Wollongong area south of Sydney, it had to fly to north of Dubbo before turning east and then south to land from the north.

Later on Sunday 23 February, VA287 (1845 hours MEL up to CBR) was airborne at 2000 hours. Suggested arrival for ATR72 VH-FVQ is 2100 hours mid evening, 45 behind. This is normally a B738, but the week coming may not be a Federal Parliamentary sitting week so passenger numbers on a Sunday night will be far lower.

VA816 (Monday 24 February, the scheduled 0800 hours SYD to MEL) was in the sky at 0849 with B738 VH-VUH. Arrival should be at 1005 hours, half an hour tardy.

Overnight VA46 (B738 VH-YIM) DPS-BNE made a medical diversion to ASP. It was on the ground just over an hour before departing at 0403 (ACST), arriving BNE 2 hours late at 0705 (AEST).

VA278, the 24 February 1700 hours CBR - MEL took off at 1725 with VH-YFV, so arrival should be at around the 1841 hours mark, 31 behind.

With MEL down to single runway operations in the early evening of Tuesday 25 February thanks to earlier thunderstorms, VA96 (scheduled 1550 hours CHC to MEL that took off early at 1601 hours with B738 VH-YIW) is arriving at about 1812, 32 minute stardy.

VA804 (Thursday 27 February, the 0630 hours SYD down to MEL that did not take off until 0808) should arrive at 0924 hours, 79 minutes late. The very welcome A332 VH-XFJ is the operating aircraft. This plane did not have any duties yesterday but had come in from HKG nine minutesw early yesterday morning at 0731, so it may have required maintenance,

VA679 (0915 hours MEL - PER) and VA686 (1205 hours PER - MEL) will be delayed as a consequence.

The 1600 hours afternoon MEL - BNE, VA337 has got the flick.

Friday 28 February's VA334 (B738 VH-YFV, the 1455 hours mid afternoon BNE dowqn to MEL) took off at 1604. A 65 minute tardy arrival at gate in MEL is the suggestion: 1920 hours.

VA859 (Sunday afternoon, 1 March 2020 with B738 VH-YVC) is the 1600 hours MEL up to SYD airborne at 1712, arrival at gate being suggested as 1826, 61 late as there's much traffic fairly closely ahead of it.

The 1400 hours on the same route is far worse, with VA849 (VH-YFK) not pointing skywards until 1655 hours, so arrival should be 1803 hours, 158 minutes tardy.

Southbound SYD down to MEL VA858 is the 1600 hours in the sky at 1713 hours. VH-VUZ looks to be arriving 55 minutes tardy at 1830 hours.
