So my flights this weekend won't have the new seats? I want a 100% refund after my flight.

Jokes.

You may be told to Fokker off even ( depending on where you are going of course) :)

Would anyone have recent information on the E190 J service and any changes to the J seats/seating, please? The most recent information that I've found is from about two months ago.

I'm looking at flying SYD-MKY and return before 30th June and make use of the double SC offer. The only direct flight in J on the dates that I'm looking at seem to be on the E190.

An FA I was chatting to the other day mentioned that the E190s are starting to be reconfigured but it is going to take until early next year to finish.

All the E190s I've been on in the last month still have the usual config. One I was on recently, the front 2 rows were re-upholstered in the grey, but still 2-2 config, with a semi curtain behind row 2.

Did a ADL-MEL flight a few hours ago, I was op-ed up at the gate. A colleague I was travelling with was on a full J fare.

Neither of us got J meals or service. Also the curtain on the EJets remained open the entire flight.

The CS was pretty certain that there is no J service on EJets.

SYD-CNS is a J service route, and both 737-800s & E190s offer J service. I get a meal on the 19:25 SYD-CNS E190 service. Sometimes I've even got the comfort pack (the flight is approx. 3 hours).

Maybe you should let the company know who that crew member is as I'm pretty sure Virgin are selling J fares on eJets.

They are absolutely selling J fares on the E190s. I intentionally avoided one this week between MEL and SYD, and have avoided one for next week as well. But you could definitely fork out a full J fare on one. My view is they should be selling them as Y only until the full refurb has been done.

To pinch a line from Kiwi band OMC, how bizzare, how bizzare!

A CS is "pretty certain" there is no J on Ejets whilst your mate is sitting there, presumably with a J boarding pass which must show on the manifest? Which cave did they drag that CS out of? And where was the lavish J banquet for 1?

I support Justcheckings comment, make a complaint with that above-mentioned comment to DJ. The whole crew (not just the CS) definitely requires training, your friend requires an apology and compensation and DJ require a reality check about what full J fare purchasing customers have a right to expect and more importantly........recieve IN FULL.

Virgin are shooting themselves in the foot by doing this. It will turn in to the premium economy debacle again. They managed to quite quickly install J in all the 738's and they didn't start selling J till they knew they had done so. They should not offer J for sale on these flights it is as simple as that.
