John Thomas....he was there for less than a year....was meant to succeed JB. But that plan fizzled.

He was brought into succeed JB. He quickly realised the mess VA were in and started to work to address it (e.g. he brought in Economy X - ways to get $ in the door) - basically his strategy has ultimately morphed into Bain's ironically. JB didn't like this and rolled him out the door - how? - no one is sure.... Lots of heavy rumors around their relationship....

Yup thats right and he is sitting on a pile of VA1 and JB's very dirty laundry but has clearly been gagged unfortunately for us who love some drama

I watched the show on iView last night - Frankly the only thing I found I did not know was what Elizabeth Bryan looked like - other than that I learned nothing I was not already aware of from sources such as this thread and AFF in general.

Exactly my thoughts! Bit of a non-event. Did Caroline Jones retire?

Funny how some of the talking heads were clearly replying to on or off-camera questions, while others were just presented and allowed to just say what they wanted, unchallenged.

Coivd travel restrictions means some were interviewed without on air talent. Quite often the producer will pre-interview anyway, its a nice little trick, the person being interviewed often just thinks they are a floosy and gives up lots of information while they wait for the on air talent.
